Infamy

The Bonney Pirates quickly gained infamy, but not for the reasons people would expect.

Wherever they went, they left behind scenes of chaos—beaten up old people and children scattered across towns and ports. It painted a strange and unsettling image, one that made them widely hated and quickly turned them into a priority target for the World Government.

But the truth was much simpler.

It was Bonney's Devil Fruit.

She could freely manipulate age, turning enemies into helpless children or frail old people in an instant. Those "victims" were never innocent—they were simply anyone who tried to stop her crew.

Still, the world didn't care about the details.

To them, the Bonney Pirates were dangerous.

Relentless.

Cruel.

At one point, they believed they had finally found Kuma.

They tracked him down to an island and moved in, ready to confront him at last.

But before they could even reach him—

Kuma was gone.

He sent himself flying.

Vanishing instantly.

He didn't stay.

Didn't explain.

Didn't even look back.

Even though he wanted to.

Instead, he left with one quiet hope in his heart—

That someday, Bonney would stop searching for him.

Around that same time, another name began to spread across the seas.

Monkey D. Luffy.

After defeating the Arlong Pirates, his name rose quickly, catching the attention of powerful figures all over the world.

Dragon.

Smoker.

Ace.

Jinbe.

And Kuma.

Elsewhere, far out at sea—

Ryo sat casually atop the mast of the Moby Dick, the wind rushing past him as the massive ship cut through the waves.

He was older now, closing in on nineteen.

For a time, he had sailed as a member of the Whitebeard Pirates, the mark of that affiliation visible on his arm.

His long red hair flowed freely behind him, and despite the open air, he still wore a vest, carefully covering his back.

Because there was something there.

Something he never allowed anyone to see.

Except those closest to him.

The mark of the Celestial Dragons.

Ryo held a wanted poster in his hand.

And grinned.

Ryo (smirking, eyes locked on the poster): Luffy..you did it, Just a bit longer and I'll come and find you, just get to the grand line..

He stood up slowly, stretching his arms over his head, letting out a quiet breath.

Ryo (rolling his shoulders slightly): boy am I rusty, well not like anyone out here is much of a challenge for me, plus I move so fast that I don't even get a proper bounty, even after I killed a celestial dragon, although I did leave pretty quickly and I was in my sulong form
