Chapter 2

I curled up on the couch and grabbed the channel changer, living the dream, I thought to myself. I turned the TV on and the Food Channel started playing, that was literally the channel I watched 98% of the time. It just so happened they were having a Chopped marathon which put a smile on my face.

My phone beeped signaling a new text message I reached over next to me on the table and grabbed my iPhone, cringing as I saw the dessert basket ingredients were Cotton Candy, beer, dragon fruit, and sour cream.

"No idea," I said mumbling to myself as I detached my phone from the charger and sat back to look at the message.

Hey, it's Jimmy! I just wanted to say thank-you again for coming on the show! It was so much fun!

I smiled and started typing in my response.

I loved being there! Thank-you for having me, it was an honor! I'm just hoping I didn't ruin Ew.

I sighed and looked at the time, it wasn't even ten yet. Maybe it would be fun.

Alrighttttt. I'm just gonna change and I'll be there, give me like 15 minutes and I'll head out.

I plugged my phone back into the charger and set it back on the table so I could get changed.

I went into my bedroom and pulled out some jeans and a sweater from my suitcase and threw them on quickly. My makeup was still done, and my hair was thrown into a messy ponytail. I slid into my dark purple flats and picked my purse up, and grabbed my phone and key card and left.

I grabbed the first cab I saw and gave them the name of the bar. It was closer than I thought, so I paid and got out of the cab and went into the bar, trying to find Jimmy and the guys.

Miles spotted me, "Maggie!"

I smiled and went over to them, people were staring but whatever.

"Hey!" I said as he hugged me, he was a bit tipsy, I could tell.

"You made it!" Jimmy said with a smile moving from his seat to the empty one next to me.

"I did," I said with a smile.

"Thanks again for coming on the show, I had a blast!"

"Honestly, I'm so happy you asked me to come on!"

He looked over me, and smiled "You didn't wear your PJs?"

I laughed loudly, "No! That would have been a great cover story though."

Jimmy leaned back and laughed, "Oh I know! It would have been fantastic."

I shook my head, and laughed.
