Jimmy pulled into his parking spot underground and we both got out, he went around to the back and pulled out my luggages and wheeled them for me.

Once we got up to the apartment, he pulled his key out to unlock it. He hesitated and looked over at me, "You do it," he said, handing me his keys, with the apartment one separated from the rest.

I smiled and took it from him, "There's not going to be some sort of confetti cannon shot at me, is there?" I asked as I put the key in and turned it, unlocking the door.

He groaned and closed his eyes, "Maggie! Well now you ruined the surprise!"

I pulled the keys out and hit him with the key ring, "Shut up! You better not have rigged something in there!"

He laughed and opened the door for me, gasping as he did so. I closed my eyes and covered my face, which only made him laugh harder than before. He put his hand on my lower back and pushed my inside; I dropped my hands and smacked his chest. He doubled over in laughter, even when I walked in while I was giggling he was still in the hall, hands on his knees just bursting with laughter.

"Our first night living together is going to be me in the bed and you on the couch!" I called out to him from the living room.

He walked in still chuckling and pulling my bags behind him, "Oh that was funny, Maggie. I almost peed my pants. That was amazing."

"I actually hate you right now," I said with a small smirk as I stared at him across the room.

"Lies," he hissed.

I rolled my eyes and nodded, "Lies," I confirmed. I looked around the apartment, really taking things in this time around. This wasn't a vacation for a week; this wasn't a pit stop or anything. This was home, and I was so pumped about it.

"Are you happy?" Jimmy asked, suddenly in front of me.

I smiled up at him, "More than happy! And you?" I asked raising my eyebrow.

He shrugged, nonchalant, "Comme ci, comme ça."

I laughed and shook my head, "Whomp whomp," I said pushing his shoulder.

He smiled and gently put his hands on my waist, "I'm beyond happy. I don't think I could actually tell you how happy I am."

I put my hands on his shoulders and titled my head to the side with a small smile, "Oh really?" I asked curiously.

Maybe it was the fact that we had been apart so long, the fact that I hadn't felt him near me in over a month. But I needed him. I wanted him more than I had ever felt that want for him. Or anyone for that matter. I felt it building up inside me already.

"Really," he confirmed with a smirk.

"Hmm. Interesting," I said, pushing myself closer to him, "Maybe you'll just have to show me," I said with a smile.

His breathing hitched for a second before going back to normal and he backed up from me, "I want to tell you something."

My smile didn't falter, "What is it?"

He pulled his phone from his pocket and unlocked it, he pushed a few things and music filled the room suddenly,

He set the phone on the table and looked at me, "Maggie...I'm just going to say it, because I've wanted to say this to you, probably unknowingly since the first day we met, even though we were dressed up for Ew! But I felt this weird bond with you, and I couldn't explain it, but I needed to keep in touch with you. That's why I said that stupid thing about the breathing and walking coach, it was seriously the stupidest thing but I needed your number without coming across as a weirdo.
