Jody's POV:

A few days pass since the play and I can't help but worry. I keep looking online to see if the professor has said anything but it's like he disappeared off the face of the Earth after the play.

"Honey I know this is a big deal for you, but you need to relax. I can already see some gray hairs coming." My mom says

"What?!"

"Maybe don't say that." My dad says

I continue to refresh the page and still nothing. I left out a sigh right as Max walks into the kitchen with the mail.

"What do we have today Max?" My dad asks

"Well so far I've seen either bills which is for you dad, or junk mail." He says

Out of the corner of my eye I see something, something in a red envelope.

'Could it be?' I think

"What's that?" I ask pointing to the envelope

"I don't know I haven't got there yet."

I quickly snatch the envelope from his hands and sure enough it's a addressed to me.

"Who is it too?" My mom asks as her and my dad come around the island and look over my shoulder

I slowly open the envelope, taking my time.

Once I finally get it open I pull out the letter and start reading it.

Dear Miss Jody Taylor,

I was very pleased with your performance a few nights ago. I haven't seen anyone with that much talent in so long. I am so blessed to have been able to go to your play that night, your take on Juliet was the best I've seen so far. I can't wait to see more from you in a few years.

Hope to keep in touch.

Professor Matthew Lutenberg

I can't help it. Once I finish reading I get up from my seat and start jumping up and down.

"I'm in!" I yell

Before I know it I'm the middle of a family sandwich, between my parents and my brothers.

"Ok I can't breath." I say after awhile and we all break away from the hug

"Honey we are so proud of you." My mom says and I can't help but smile

Hopefully things will continue to be good throughout the day.

Chase's POV:

It's been a few days since I last saw Jody at her play. I keep thinking whether I should text her or not.

'Nah you'll just see her at school tomorrow.' I voice tells me

It's true, I will. I mean we go to the same school and it's not like it's a big school at that...yeah I'll just wait to talk to her.

I let me decisions sink in before I do anything else and I mean anything.

Right as I'm about to start my homework my parents call me from downstairs.

My radar goes off right away saying something is up.

I slowly get up from my desk and make my way downstairs.
