Chase's POV:

I walk through the halls with my teammates, my friends, my pals, my buds, my mates, my chums, my uh that's all I got, after practice. We walk past nerds looking at their comic books and the hipsters blasting their music till we finally see Drama Girl, her name is Jody but we football players call her Drama Girl, standing with her friend at her locker. Her friend points my way and Drama Girl turns. I'm always the talk of the school, being the quarterback of the football team and all, but when I see Drama Girl turn as red as a tomato I know something is up.

I continue walking and ignore the fact that every girl in school is swooning over me. I mean it's ok, I guess. I get to my locker and only Josh and Tyler are the only two left following me, since their lockers are next to mine.

"Chase did you see Drama Girl?" Tyler asks opening his locker.

"Yeah dude. Why wouldn't I, we pass by her locker everyday to get to our lockers." I say doing the combination for my locker.

"Did you see her face though? She was swooning over you just like every other girl." Josh says

"Ok guys I get it." I say opening my locker and take out my books for Science.

Before they can say anymore. I quickly close my locker and walk off. Ten feet from the Science door I'm stopped by Chatty Kathy, I'm not joking that's her name, don't ask why.

"Hey Chase." She says spitting in my face.

"Uh hey Kathy." I say wiping the spit from my face.

"Can I get a really quick photo for the yearbook." She says spitting again and waving her camera.

"Uh sure." I say.

She shows me to where I need to stand and snaps the picture.

"Well thanks Chase. I'll be by the football practice after school along with a special guest." She says before she walks off.

I walk into class and set my books down in my spot. I sit down in the chair and put my feet on the table.

I look around the room to see Jody sitting with Jeremy, AJ, and June laughing about something. But when I'm not looking someone pushes my feet off the table.

"Hey!" I say.

I quickly turn and look to see it's my girlfriend Samantha or Sam.

"Oh hey." I say smoothly.

"It's nice to see you too." She says and she plants a kiss on my lips.

The bell rings and she pulls away and takes her seat.
