Chase's POV:
Lunch went by like it usually does, fast. It seemed like it went by in seconds but it didn't. But before I knew it my friends and I were walking back to our lockers.
"Hey dude it's Drama Girl." Josh says nudging me
"And I should care why?" I ask him and he shrugs
I watch her with my eyes as she walks down the hall with her friends.
"So why don't you talk to her?" Tyler says
"I don't know. I don't feel like it." I say with a shrug
"Oh yeah don't feel like it." Josh says rolling his eyes
But before I know it I'm flying towards Jody and her friends and.... Whack!
I land right on top of her.
"Uh hi?" I say
Jody's POV:
I could hear Chase and his friends talking behind me but I couldn't quite hear what they were saying. But out of nowhere Chase comes and lands right on top of me. The only I have for that is.
Awkward!
"Uh hi to you too." I say with a weak smile
"Oh uh right sorry." He says getting off me and helping me to my feet
I could tell Jessie was trying not to giggle by it kind of creeped out.
"Do you want to study after school at my place again?" Chase asks me
"Uh sure." I say
"Ok cool I'll text you to meet right in front of the school after last period." He says with a smile that made my knees turn to jello
"Ok alright see ya then." I say
He takes off down the hall and catches up to his friends to push one of them into the wall, in a friendly way.
"Girl you need to style up." Jessie says in my ear and she makes me jump
"What do you mean?"
"Better clothes and put on some makeup and do you're hair for crying out loud." She says looking me up and down
I roll my eyes and continue to walk down the hall as she catches up to me and continues to talk about helping me for studying with Chase.
