Chapter 24

Chase's POV:

As soon as Rebecca comes back the smile she had on her face was gone.

"We'll see you later." She says grabbing her purse as she walks towards the front door

"Wait where are you going?" I call after her

"To the mall with Katy." She says

"Katy Perry?" I ask

Once I say that she turns around and looks at my narrowing her eyebrows.

"Haha very funny Chase."

"So I'm going to clean all by myself."

"Pretty much." She says before she opens the front door and slams it shut behind her

God I hate my sister sometimes.

I watch from the window as her friend and her take off down the street.

"Just great leave me to do all the cleaning." I mutter to myself. "Well this house isn't going to clean itself."

So I decide to start cleaning my room finding an old box of pizza, and I'll tell you it was an old box of pizza with mold growing on the pieces.

Before I decide to eat a piece I quickly throw the box inside a trash bag, becuase you know who doesn't love pizza, and I continue to clean under my bed finding all sorts of stuff.

This is going to be a fun filled day.

Jody's POV:

I slowly get out of bed as my mom closes my door and walks back downstairs.

I change into (picture), do my hair into a messy bun and head downstairs.

I get to the bottom of the stairs and my mom is waiting for me.

"Ready to go?" She asks

"Go where?" I ask confused

"You know annual mother daughter shopping day!" She says with jazz hands

'Oh god! Did she seriously just do jazz hands?' A voice in my head says

"Oh yeah right. Let me to get my purse." I say going back upstairs to get my purse

"But you're purse is down here." She says

"Yeah but I like to change my purse every once in a while to a different purse. You know teenage girls." I say but the look on my mom's questions that statement

I get to my room and I walk through my bathroom into one of my brothers rooms, Tyler, because we have a Jack and Jill bathroom.

"Tyler! Mom is making go on the annual mother daughter shopping day." I say anxiously

"Oh great! Now dad and I can go fishing." He says

"Tyler this is serious."

"Well every time you go mother daughter shopping she always gets you tons of clothes and you seem happy when you get home."

"That's true. Thanks."

With that I go back into my room and grab another purse and head downstairs.

"All set." I say

"Great! Let's go." My mom says

Chase's POV:

Well so far there's only one good thing about my sister leaving me to clean the house and that is I finished cleaning my room and started on the rest of the top floor.

Then I hear my phone going off from my room.

I quickly race to my room to grab my phone. I see who's calling and if you haven't guessed it's my freaky, stupid, childish friend Josh.

"Hey man what's up?" I ask answering

"Guess who's at the mall."

"Umm...girls, Taylor Swift, 5sos. I don't know. Who?"

"Drama girl." He says

"Why is she there?" I ask with interest

"Come down there man. Her mom is with her." He says

Well that just crushed my hopes.

"I wonder why she is there." I say

"Well I would say she's shopping with her mother doing something like mother daughter shopping." Josh says

"My question is how do you know all this?" I ask

"I'm in the food court spying on them." He says and I try to hold back a laugh

"Dude really." I laugh

Jody's POV:

As me and my mom walk through the mall until we get to the food court and wait in line for Panda Express for some food.

I let my mom wait in line for food while I find a table to sit.

As I look for a table I find one of 'Sports Boy's' friends sitting just a few tables away.

He sees me looking at him and he quickly looks away. He takes out his phone from his pocket and puts it to his ear.

Hmmm.

Chase's POV:

"What is she doing?" I ask

"She's finding a table for her and her mom." Josh says

'Wait why do I care about this?' A voice asks in my head

"Ok screw this I'm going to the mall." I say

"That's the Chase I know. Meet me in the food court."

"Alright bye."

With that I hang up and run downstairs, throw all the cleaning supplies in a random closet and grab my keys to my car and run out the door until I see I don't have any shoes on.

So I quickly run back inside and get my shoes.

I get to the mall about 30 minutes later because I was stuck behind some grandpa who was going 25 in a 45 zone.

I run into the food court and find Josh sitting at a table and I walk over and sit down.

"Hey man I got you a piece of pizza." He says sliding a plate with pizza in front of me

I look around and a few tables away is Drama Girl and her mom.
