Chase's POV:
I sit in class, all I can think about right now is Sam and her face, how sad he looked. Should I not break up with her, should we still be together? So many questions run through my mind I'm not even paying any attention to my teacher till...
"CHASE COLLINS!!!!!" My name rings around the room making me jump
"Huh what?" I say confused
I look around at everyone and see they are just staring at the teacher. I turn my head and see she is just standing there. Alright now I'm confused, she never stops talking, she goes on and on. But now she finally shuts her mouth, really?
We all follow her eyes to see a piece of paper tapped to her door. Preston gets up and rips the paper off the door.
"Well it was nice knowing you Mrs D." He says and everyone's jaws drop
She walks over to Preston and grab the note from him and I can tell she is trying her best to hold back a sob.
Then before we know it the bell rings and she just breaks out crying.
I quickly get to my locker and see Jody with her friends until Josh blocked my way.
"Hey dude did you hear about Mrs D? Everyone is talking about it." He says
"I was in her class when that happened." I say and both Josh and Tyler nod
It seemed like this day was going by so slow. Till finally lunch came and my and my friends ran as fast as we can to the lunchroom until I bump into Jody and knock her down.
"I'm so sorry." I say helping her to her feet
"No you're fine. I wasn't looking where I was going." She says
"Well I've got to get to lunch but after school to you want to study some more." I say
"Sure I'll see you after school." She and I nod
She walks off and I continue down the hall to lunch.
I wait in the lunch line and punch in my lunch code and sit down with my teammates. It was hard for me to believe that football is over. But at least basketball is going start after Christmas break. Which is coming up in a week.
"I wonder who is going to fill in for Mrs D. She was one of the greatest teachers here. She has been here since the beginning of this school..." I stop Jax before he goes any farther
"Dude, first off she is like 80 years old it's time for her to stop working. Second did you even have her as a teacher." I say
He shakes his head.
"Well that changes everything." Josh says
