Drama Girl Sports Boy

Chapter 14

~Jody's POV~:
I think and mutter some things about Chase helping me up from the floor but yet again he was the one who bumped into making me fall to the floor.

But at least he helped me up, right? Most guys would leave me there of the floor and let me get up myself.

So anyway I make my way to my locker putting my books in there before making my way to lunch.

It seemed like the lunch line is slower today than usual. But hey I can wait. I'm not one of those girlswho can't wait to get their food.

But I do finally get my food and take a seat at my usual table with all my drama friends.

"So anything new?" Jessie asks me

"Uh well let's see Mr Uthe gave me another female lead in the play. I got an A on my science project and uh that's it." I say counting everything off with my fingers

"Not school stuff but... Sports boy stuff." She says the second so quietly even I can't hear her

I look over my shoulder at Chase and his goons but the truth is nothing, nothing is new between us that I know of anyway. Other than him knocking me down in the hallway, nothing.

I turn back and look at my friends.

"Well?" Jessie says

"The truth is nothing, nothing is new with us. We haven't talked since I helped him out with studying." I say and she frowns

I shrug and continue to eat my lunch with no more interruptions, will there were some.

But I could tell Jessie wasn't to happy about nothing new with Chase and me because she loves to talk drama and crushes and you know girl stuff.

•Chase's POV•:
I felt bad for bumping into Jody before lunch. I was being kind of stupid like some boys are and wasn't looking or thinking and just boom, bumped into her.

I'm just not sure what I should do. Should I say I'm sorry or just let it slide.

But before I know it I'm getting up from my seat and walking over to her table and sit down next to her. Her back is turned to me but I can see her friend's face light up and she starts pointing behind Jody.

She turns and looks at me, shocked.

"Hey I'm sorry for earlier. You know knocking you down." I say stretching the back of my head

"It's ok." She says laying her hand on my other arm and her friend squeals

Can you say awkward much. O.o

I didn't really have much to say other than that but I slowly get up from the chair and walk back to my table. But yet I look back for some reason. I have know idea why.

I get to my table and sit back down in my seat and all my friends turn to me.

"So what happened with you and Drama Girl?" Josh asks

"Nothing. I told her something and then left." I reply

"Oh yeah sure. So what did you tell her?" Tyler asks with a little sassy tone in his voice

"I just old her I was sorry for bumping into her as I ran down here and she forgave me and I left and came back here." I say

They all look at me like I'm lying which I'm not. The truth is I walked over there, said I was sorry and came back.

The truth is right there. I didn't do anything more than that. There might be more in that but that I know of it's nothing, or is there something?
