Chapter 28

Chase's POV:

"Wake up you lousy sports player." Coach yells from the sidelines

"Huh?" I look over at the sidelines at my coach

This can't be right...coach would never say that to me.

But before I know it I'm lying down on the field looking up at the sky.

"Get up Chase." Coach yells but with my sister's voice

Then in a flash in awake and my sister is shaking me, trying to get me to wake up.

"Finally you're up." She says, "Come downstairs."

"Why?" I ask rubbing my head

"Because it's a News Years Miracle."

With that she walks out of my room leaving me there wondering what this so called Miracle might be.

I hop out of bed no caring that I don't have a shirt on and follow her down the stairs.

"So where's this 'Miracle'?" I ask

"Look outside." Rebecca says as she eats another spoonful of cereal

"Am I getting a new car?" I ask

"Yeah no." My mom says as she walks in out of nowhere at the right time

"Just look out the window." Rebecca says

"Ok fine."

I walk over to the window to find everything outside covered in a white blanket.
(Just wanted to share the love because where I live we got snow:) so yeah. Who doesn't love snow?:D)

"So big deal, it snowed." I say as I walk back into the kitchen

"Well we don't have school today." Rebecca says

"Yes!" I say punching my fist into the air

I look over at the clock to see what time it is and my smile turns into a frown.

"Wait why did you wake me up so early?"

"You didn't want to miss 'school' now, did you?" She asks putting air quotes around school

"You suck."

"Thanks!"

She gives me a fake smile before I make my way back to my room.

Jody's POV:

It's snowing!! Yay!

That's a great way to wake up, no alarm clocks, no yelling brothers, no dog barking, just waking up like it's Saturday.

"Did you look outside?" Max asks as I walk into the kitchen

"Yes. Thank god." I say as I pull out a chair from the table

"So have you heard from him?" Tyler asks

"From who?"

"You know who." Max says

"Oh no."

"Oh...anyway what do you want to do, just the three of us?" Tyler asks

"Why? What do you want?"

"Nothing, just to spend time with our sister." Max says and I raise an eyebrow

"Ok fine. Last night we went a party at our friend's house and he brought out adult drinks." Tyler says

"But you guys are only 14."

"That's why we didn't drink. But if mom and dad find out Jimmy did that they will never let me go over his house again." Max says

"Alright fine. Hey you wanna go to the mall."

"Oh great." They both mumble

"I'll take that as a yes." I say and they groans

I hop up from my seat take a pancake for Max's plate and head upstairs to get dressed.

I come downstairs moments later with jeans and a sweater and my brothers are still sitting where I left them

"Ready to go?" I ask

"Do I have to go?" Max whines

"You said you wanted to spend time with you're sister. Plus you don't want me to tell mom and dad."

"Ugh fine." Tyler groans and I smirk

I grab my purse and my car keys.

"Can I drive?" Max asks

"Um no."

"I feel like I'm in trouble." Tyler says as he follows he outside and into the car

As soon as we pull into the parking lot we see it's packed.

"Well let's go home." Max says and I glare at him

After circling the parking lot for about an hour a spot finally opens up and we park.

I quickly hop out of the car but on the other my brothers are as slow as snails.

"Hurry up."

"Fine."

We quickly walk inside ignoring the crowds of people going in all directions.

"So where do we need to go?" Tyler asks

"Forever 21."

"Oh great." Max says

We get to Forever 21 and I start looking for the dress I wanted.

"There you are." I say finding the dress I wanted after about 20 minutes of looking and I see it's the only one left

"I need that dress." An old lady says grabbing ahold of the dress

"Well I saw it first."

"No I did."

"Ladies...ladies please." Max butts in

I glare at him.

"She had it first." Tyler says slapping the old ladies hands before we take off running to the register

Minutes later we are outside Forever 21 and walking around the rest of the mall.

"That was fun. Need me to slap anyone else?" Tyler asks and Max and I chuckle

"That's never happened before and I don't know why it happened today.

"Maybe she wanted it." Tyler says

"Dude! She was an old lady. Why would she want this?" I say and he shrugs

"Maybe for her granddaughter?" Max says but more like a question than an answer

Tyler's POV:

I honestly have no idea why I let my sister push me into coming to the mall...I guess it was kind of funny when I slapped the lady's hand.

"So anywhere else you want to go?" I ask

"No I think I'm good." Jody says

Max, Jody and I walk through the food court passing food samples and knowing me everything I'm offered I take it.

We finally get to the door I push it open and hold it for my sister and Max.

We walk through the parking lot until we find my sister's car and we hop in and drive off back to our house.

Well it's 2015 and sorry I don't update sooner I've been busy with school. :/

But at least I'm updating now! :D

Hope everyone's 2015 is going good! I'm been pretty good so far, just kind of busy with school.
