As soon as the girl had the knife against her throat, Sophie pushed positive emotions through the air. The girl shook her head, as if trying to clear a fog from her mind and then she pressed the knife harder into Sophie's throat.
"Sophie?" The girl said in shock.
"How do you know my name?" The blonde girl shoved away from Sophie, and following her suit, the black haired boy pulled away from Keefe. Sophie watched in curiosity as his sword shrank into a ballpoint pen. All of this seemed awfully familiar. Sophie gripped her head as pain rippled through her brain.
She groaned. Keefe came to her side, standing slightly in front of her to get in between the peculiar people and her.
"You- uh- you look like someone we know," the black haired boy said. "I guess it's a giant coincidence that you happen to have the same name as her." He patted Keefe's shoulder and pretended to dust dirt off him.
The girl cleared her throat. "You didn't happen to see anyone jump into a hole while you chased us, did you?"
Sophie glanced around the alleyway. "I don't see any holes?"
The girl cocked her head. "You can't see the hole?"
Keefe and Sophie glanced at each other confusedly. Obviously Keefe can't see any holes either, Sophie thought, otherwise he would've said something. Maybe I should look into there mind, and see what they're seeing?
"Seaweed Brain, we need to get out of here," the girl said as if she could read Sophie's mind. "Well, sorry about our little altercation back there, but you know! You can never be safe in a big city!"
The girl waved, spun on her heels, and dragged the boy behind her. Sophie watched as the disappeared out of the alleyway. A squelching sound came from behind her.
"Soph, I think I stepped in poop..."

Her headaches were back again. But they only appeared when she thought about the boy and the girl. Every time something reminded her of her weird reoccurring dreams, she thought of the strange people, and in turn, this caused her to clutch her head in agony. But, at the same time, when she slept, the more she dreamt about them, the more vivid imagery appeared into her mid.
Sophie could honestly say she thought she was going crazy. These dreams she had every night seemed so so realistic. She felt like they had actually happened. And she wanted to communicate with Keefe about these strange dreams, but what if that just made him pass out like her mom did?
Nothing was making sense anymore. Sophie couldn't put any of the pieces of the puzzle together, no matter how hard she tried it either ended with her rolling on the floor in pain or passed out on her floor.
"Hello, Lady Fos-Boss!" Keefe flung open her bedroom door.
"THAT'S IT!" Sophie cried out.
Keefe quirked an eyebrow at her. "Are you finally coming to the realization that I have the finest hair out there? Or maybe it's finally coming to your attention that you just have to be near me all the time?"
"I already came to those realizations- but, in all seriousness, where's the Forbidden Cities crystal?"
"Backtrack a little please," Keefe said, putting his hands up in the universal 'pause' signal.
"Absolutely no time for that. Hand it over," she held out her palm expectantly. Keefe sighed and reluctantly fished his hands through his pockets to find the key.
From his right pocket in his pants he proceeded to pull out a wand, a hairbrush, some mints, a pack of cracker like food, some Mint Rifflepuffs, a handkerchief, and finally the light leaping crystal.
"How did you fit all that in your pockets?"
He shrugged. "Not sure myself. Bianca made them though, I just stole them from Fitz."
"Oh, makes sense," she agreed. And then she leaped foward and snatched the crystal out of Keefe's hand and immediately light leaped to the Forbidden Cities again, because, if her memories aren't gonna show up, she was going to find a trigger to make it happen.
