Keefe had carried Percy back to his room. Fitz had refused to even touch him using telekineses, and then he grabbed Bianca and Lihn and walked back to his home.

"Who has that much control over that much water?" Keefe questions. "The only time I've seen something like that is in Atlantis with Lihn and even then you were enhancing her and I was helping her with her emotions."

Sophie thought for a minute, thinking about the very few hydrokinetics she'd met. However, she couldn't think of a single one that was able to do that.

"I don't know. Do you still think something is off with him?" Sophie glanced up at the boy, who was limp in Keffe's hold with telekineses.

"Yeahhh... Maybe just this once you could look into his mind?" Keefe suggested.

Sophie wasn't sure she could handle doing that again. Especially after what she had done during the war. She shuddered, not wanting to remember those times. All the deaths that were on her hands---

"Foster, don't," Keefe said sternly.

"Don't what?"

He raised a brow. Then, he glanced up at Percy, suspended in the air before lightly setting him down in the grass. Keefe took a few steps towards Sophie and lightly pulled her against him. He brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear and placed his head against hers.

"Stop thinking that the people we lost--- on both sides--- was your fault; it wasn't," Keefe lifted her chin up and lightly brushed his lips against hers. They stayed like that for a moment.

And that's when Sophie knew. Keefe was the one she could never live without. He had always been there for her, and would always be, and she knew it in her heart and Keefe knew she would never leave him.

"Keefe?" She whispered.

"Yeah?"

"I---" The L word got caught in her throat. Was she ready? What if he didn't love her back? So, Sophie changed tactics. "I'm tired. Are you?"

"Yup. Although I'm sure when I get home, I'll have to see another epic battle of Bo and Ro, and I'll surely make another ballad." Keefe replied before focusing his attention back on Percy and lifting him in the air.

Ever since the war, Bo and Ro wouldn't stop arguing for reasons unknown. They argued about who slept where, who sat where, and who got to do something first. Keefe had told Sophie that it was a never-ending battle of who gets what first.

"You could just stay at my house." As soon as the words escaped Sophie's mouth, she blushed. "Sorry, I---"

Keefe chuckled. "Sophie Foster, don't apologize to me. Of course, I'll stay with you. Not sure how Grady or Gigantor will feel about that though. Speaking of the squeaky dude, where's he at?"

"Oh, he went to visit Grizel back at his home. You know, with the mini Sandor/Grizel on the way. And, Bronte wants to slowly introduce Percy to Sandor so he doesn't freak out," said Sophie.

"What's his deal with Sandor?" Keefe said. Sophie glanced at him sideways.

"I'm not exactly sure," Sophie said. "But is it any of my business?"

"You're right..."

"But?" Sophie prompted. She could hear Keefe straining not to tell her his next words but she really wanted to know what he was thinking.

"But after all we just went through, aren't you just a little suspicious of him? Don't you want to know?" Keefe laced his fingers through hers.

Sophie couldn't disagree. She was suspicious of Percy, all the little weird things that she had noticed about him. His nightmares, the constant twirling of a pen that he has, his eyes anxiously darting around everywhere as if looking for something that was going to attack. Percy jumped at little things but mostly kept himself well-contained. He was basically a pro at hiding his emotions. But unnerving of all, was the power that radiated off of him in waves. Sometimes, when Percy stood right beside her, she got shivers because she could feel all of his power.

But, at the same time, Sophie believed that Percy was a good person and she wasn't about to go prying into his life. Unless absolutely necessary.

"Yes," said Sophie. "And no."

Keefe was silent for a minute. And a minute stretched into two before he said, "You know, at first, I thought he just had a crazy good control of his emotions. So good that I couldn't read his emotions. But now that he's asleep, I realize that I just can't read his emotions."

"But..." Sophie trailed off. She was confused. There wasn't anybody who could truly hide their emotions from Keefe.

"I know. So maybe he was made this way; like you were," said Keefe. Sophie looked up at Percy. In the distance, she saw the top of her home peaking over a hillside.

"I could enhance you?"

"You could try, but I bet I still wouldn't be able to," he laughed. Sophie stepped up to the door of her home and pushed it open.

"I'm home!" she called out, not able to think of a response to Keefe's words.

"Sophie," Sandor greeted her. He gave a brief nod to Keefe and in return, Sandor got aweird look.

"Geez, Princess Peach," Keefe said. Sophie rolled her eyes. She had just explained what Mario Bros. was to Keefe and he picked Princess Peach to represent him because of his squeaky voice. She didn't know why he couldn't've chosen Bowser. "I thought we were starting to get along!"

Keefe slinked an arm around the unamused goblin.

"I will throw you across the room."

Keefe backed off.

"Alrighty, then. Let's go put this dude in his room," Keefe said, lifting Percy up with his telekineses.

"What happened to him?"

"He pretty much drained himself," Keefe smirked. He mimcked the Siri voice. "Low battery."

Sophie smiled up at him. Keefe had really shot up these last few years and she, however grew two more inches and then she was done. She remembered her height at her seventeenth birthday and she was not impressed.

After they set Percy in him room, Keefe declared that he had to go so he could finish writing the 'Ballad of the Fights of Bo and Ro'. And she had hailed him once or twice but he had ignored it and she was probably getting really angry.

He placed a quick kiss on her lips, which Sandor scowled at, and then fled, scared for his life. Sophie chuckled. She was sad that he had to go, but she also understood why.

She went into the kitchen and grabbed a few things to help Percy feel better and walked up the stairs into his room. He heard the faint voice of a girl and then she heard Percy's.

Who in the world could he be talking to

"When I see you again, I'm gonna kill you," said someone in a slightly menacing tone. Sophie gasped. What the heck?

Was somebody threatening Percy? But then she heard his laughter.

Sophie backed away from the door. Now, more than ever, she was suspicious of him.

And she had a plan to find out whether he was a good guy or a bad guy.

A/N   Sorrryyyyy for the long wait but I hope this update treats you well. It did not treat me well while I was writing it. I sorta forgot my whole plot so I had to rewrite it on a piece of paper, and then I was struggling due to a case of writer's block, ate some chocolate chip cookies (blue, obviously) and then I figured out what to right.

Yay! I made it to girls' state wrestling! Wish me luck!
