'Silver's POV'
After that night, things went smoothly for a few weeks. Dez, Lilian and I got to sit in on classes while the guys and Nya taught them. The white coats are still looking for us, for me, I'm sure of that.
It's 4:37pm, the kids just went home, and everyone is headed out to town to restock our grocery supply. We've barely gone out of the monastery, Sensei says its to dangerous. I take Julia out flying every day, and the ninja run below us with Lilian and Dez, but we haven't gone to town since the incident at the mall...
Dez, Lilian, Julia and I are all dressed in disguises, just incase the white coats are hanging around the grocery store.
As we walk past the snacks, Julia gasps, making me immediately look at her
"Can we get these? Please?!" She grabs a box off of the shelf, I read it as she jumps up and down... Dunk-A-Roos? They look like crackers and icing... What's so great about that?
"Sure, put them in the cart." Misako answers Julia
"Yay!" She throws them into the shopping cart "Silver, you have to try them, they're the best things on earth!" I can't help but smile at her enthusiasm
"Keep your voice down Julia," Zane puts his fingers to his lips and we all listen, only to hear a bang
"We must get you three out of here, now!" Julia, Lilian, Dez, Nya, the ninja and I make a break for the exit.
I pick up Julia once we're outside, faced with the busy streets of Ninjago.
"This way, to the forest!" Cole and the others pull down their masks, revealing their ninja gi's. They jump and climb onto the roof of the grocery store
"Silver, we can't climb that!" Lilian exclaims.
"Find something to climb onto!" Kai yells down from the rooftop. I look around frantically, spotting a dumpster a few buildings away
"Over there!" I take off running, Lilian, Dez and the white coats close behind. I fly onto the roof, setting Julia down and leaning down to help get the others up.
"Lilian, hurry up!" Jay calls from beside me
"O-okay..!" She climbs onto the dumpster with Dez's help and reaches her hand up.
As Kai grabs her hand, three white coats round the corner and point their guns at Dez.
"Dez, no!" I jump from the tall building, the only thing breaking my fall is the single white coat that I land on
"Silver-!"
"Dez, hurry up!" The white coats point their guns at me. I stand off of their crippled friend. They wouldn't shoot me, Vanessa wants me alive
"What are you doing? Grab her!" I hear Vanessa's voice and my heart skips a beat
"Silver, let's go!" I hear Lloyd's voice shortly after, cueing me to fly onto the roof. I do just that, and we take off running, gunshots ring in my ears.
"Ah-!" Dez cries out in pain, he falls to the hard gravel on the rooftop. We stop at his cry and rush back to where he fell. The gunshots stop, they obviously know they hit someone and will probably be on the roof soon to find out who.
"Dez, what happened?!" Julia asks, getting onto her knees beside his head
"He was shot." Zane lifts his sleeve, to which blood begins pouring out of his shoulder.
"D-dez..." Lilian begins to cry. I can only stare in horror, I did this to him...
Then the anger kicks in, they shot him.! How could they shoot him?! How dare they!
I stand and begin marching towards the spot we were just running away from
"Silver, stop." Cole catches my arm
"No! Let me go!" I pull away, but he catches me again, both wrists this time. I pull against him as hard as I can, yelling as I do, but I'm no match, he's to strong.
I finally give up and allow him to guide me back to Dez
"We're going to have to carry him back." Kai nods at Lloyd's words
"Let's get going." Jay stands up. Dez grunts and groans as they pick him up and begin speed walking. I pick Julia up again, she closes her eyes and cries into my chest
I run beside them. I hear the white coats yelling behind us, but I don't turn around.
"Lloyd!" Cole calls out
"Got it!" Lloyd throws his arm back and, while still running, creates a green force field between us and them. I catch myself staring and bring my eyes back to the rooftop. We soon come to a large gap, one that the guys can't jump over while holding Dez
"How are we going to do this?!" Lilian panics
"Nya, you've contacted Sensei, correct?" Zane asks
"Yes, I have." The guys nod and tun to the white coats
"Silver, Nya, Lilian, stay here, when the Ultra Dragon gets here, try to get Dez onto it, we'll hold them off until then!" Cole calls. Nya and I nod. The guys do as told and fight back against the white coats.
In a matter of minutes the 'Ultra Dragon' has landed on the roof
"Alright, are you ready Dez?" I ask, looking down to his pale face
"Y-yeah.. Let's go..." He answers weakly. Nya, Lilian and I carefully lift Dez onto the back of the dragon, then getting on ourselves
"Guys!" Nya calls. All at once they make a break for the dragon, we fly up as soon as the last person is on
"Duck!" Jay yells as the white coats begin shooting again
"We can't take a direct route back, they might try and follow us. We're going to have to loose them in the forest." Kai states.
At that, Lloyd leads the dragon into the thick woods. The dragon can just fit through some of the trees.
