Calum: I want you to want me this way, I need you to need me to stay.
The tears rolled down your cheeks and no matter how hard you tried you couldn't stop them. You hands shook from the cold and you could swear that you had lost your lips at this point. "Leave then!" You remember Calum screaming, just minutes ago. His words bounced around in your head, hurting you more than any kind of pain you had ever felt before. "I'm done!" "I don't care!" The tears stung even more now. All you had asked was for him to say that he loved you, and that he needed you. Lately, it seemed as though he was slipping through your fingers. And after tonight, you knew that any hope you had had been smashed to bits. "Just please Calum. Say that you need me to stay!" "If you want to leave so bad, leave then!" He shouted his final words, leaving the lounge room and slamming his bedroom door... Your bedroom door. The door to the place you had shared so many memories. And just like that, he didn't care anymore. So you did just what he said. Left. If he didn't want you, then why did you need him? You'd always expected this to happen. But somehow, you wished it never would. So here you were. Cold. Broken. So this is what love's all about.
Luke: Cause I remember the taste of you skin tonight and the way that you look, you had those eyes. I remember the way you felt inside and the name of the songs that made you cry.
You felt Luke crawl into the bed beside you. His arm brushed your back. You were faced away from him, but you could still feel his eyes on you. "How did we get here Y/N? Hardly speaking.. Annoyed with one another." Truth is you didn't know. It's like one day all the chemistry you and him had died. You didn't love him anymore, and he knew that. But how were you supposed to say that out loud? It would kill him. "I.. I don't know." You sighed, still turned away from him. "I remember the first night I met you." He breathed out. "You looked at me with those eyes of yours. And you told me that you couldn't listen to Green Day because they were your best friends favorite band." You could almost hear the gears turning in his head. "I remember the first time that I touched your skin, and the tingles it gave me. You're electric... You were electric." The room went silent while you both thought. "If you don't know if you love me Y/N, let me go." The room began to spin, afraid of what he might do if you told him how you felt. "I don't know." You choked out. "Right." He said, before climbing out and disappearing through the door. "I don't know.." You whispered again.
Ashton: You would scream we would fight you would call me crazy I would laugh you were mad but you would always kiss me.
Mornings were never your thing, and Ashton knew that. So 5 years after breaking up he thought he'd take a chance and go to the coffee shop you always got your latte from to wake you up, just to see if he could see you again. "Ashton!" You said when you turned around to see who tapped you on your shoulder. "Y/N." He smiled. "I figured I'd find you here." "Old habits die hard I guess." You laughed, sitting down at the table closest to you. "So what are you doing here?" "We had a break on tour. I really missed the city so I came back as a little holiday. I thought I'd just see if you were still around. Wanted to... Say hi." He looked at you with those eyes that you used to stop breathing over. His hair looked different, and his face. He looked older. More mature. Sitting in front of you definitely wasn't the Ashton you used to be so in love with. "It was probably stupid.." He said taking your silence as a bad sign. "No, no not at all. I'm glad you did." You smiled at him and you could see the tension release from his shoulders. "You could't resist me!" He laughed, reminiscing about all you two used to be. You'd lost track of how long you two had been talking but you knew you missed him. He had this charm about him that you could just watch for hours on end. "Yeah right. Could too." "Admit it Y/N. Anytime we'd argue, you'd always scream something about how you hated me and then all I had to do was kiss you and it was like nothing even happened." He wasn't wrong. After small giggles from the both of you, you both went quiet. "I sort of lied." He admitted. "What?" "I lied. I didn't come here to holiday. I really wanted to see you." It caught you by surprise, but you couldn't say it upset you. "I wanted to see if maybe.. we could try things again? We're not stupid teenagers anymore." He noted and you laughed. "That's for sure." "So, what do you say?" You thought for a minute. "I say.. ok." "Ok?" "Ok!"
Michael: (His POV) And the shirt that I had you'd always borrow when I walked it was gone now there's no tomorrow
It killed me to see her in it. That fucking shirt that I knew she loved. It's like she wears it to torture me or something. Of course, the smart thing to do would be to stop reading the magazines where her face is plastered everywhere. But, the stupid thing is, she didn't even love me. She couldn't have, otherwise she'd still be here with me. There was no reason for me to leave, except I knew. I knew she did't love me. Yet somehow I still hang onto her. "You ok dude?" Ashton shoved me in the shoulder, taking me out of my thoughts. "Fine." I said, tossing the magazine to the table and leaning back on the couch. "It's Y/N, huh?" He half asked, already knowing the answer. "She was here in LA the other day. She wore my shirt. MY SHIRT. Like she doesn't even give a fuck about my feelings." Ashton sighed, and I know he was tired of hearing me. But how was I supposed to let her go. "She fucked you up Mikey." He finally said. "She ripped your heart out." I knew it was true. "Then why can't I let her go?" "Because... You're a stupid man in love. And you'll always hate yourself for being the one to walk away. But you can't. She was the one who walked long before you physically did." I sat thinking, wishing he didn't always have to be right. "She kills me Ash... And she doesn't even care."
