***homecoming day***
***mels POV***
I've been up for about an hour it's like 8. I'm just chillin on my bed in a tank top and sweat pants Justin is on his way over. he told me he had news for me so hopefully it's good.
"I'm coming in!" I heard justin say at the
door. I sat up on my bed as justin sat on my bed.
"so what's up?" I asked looking into his brown eyes.
"I can't go tonight."
"what?" I said in shock. "why?"
"scooter is making me go into the studio tonight." he said looking down.
"oh okay..." I said playing with my nail polish.
"I'm so sorry." he said grabbing my hand.
"no it's fine. I understand. music comes first." I said looking up and smiling at him. but on the inside I'm crying. "you should go I gotta go get ready to go eat with Nash." I said completely lying.
"okay. I'm sorry. take lots of pictures for me okay?" he said helping me stand up.
"Justin I said it's fine. and I will. have fun in the studio. " I said hugging him.
"bye Mel." he said kissing my head and walking out my bedroom door. once the door was closed I laid on my bed and closed my eyes.
"wants wrong sissy?" Ty said walking into my room.
"I don't have a date to homecoming tonight bud." I said sitting up.
"I'll be your date!!!!" he said smiling at me. God this kid is cute.
"I don't think your mamma would want you going to the dance tonight." I said laughing.
"But I wanna go!!!!" he said whining.
"okay then go ask mom Ty." I said laughing.
"okay!!" he said running out of my room. I get up from my bed and go to Aliahs. I walk in and she's cuddled up under her covers with cameron both I their phones.
"Aliah...." I said quietly.
"yes? what's wrong"she said sitting up.
"guess who doesn't have a date anyone!" I said in a happy tone but she knew I was being sarcastic.
"you're kidding! what happened with Justin?!" she said getting up and hugging me.
"he has to go to the studio tonight. " I said hugging back.
"oh Mel I'm so sorry!!!" she said giving me a sad smile.
"no it's fine." I said
"you're still going right?" cameron said getting up.
"oh yeah of course." I said.
"okay good." cameron said. "I'm going to go so you two can go get ready and do your stuff." he said hugging Aliah and kissing her on the lips.
"bye" aliah and I both said as he left he room.
"so where do you want to go first?" I asked.
"nails?" aliah said.
"yeah. I'm going in this I'll just throw my hair up in a bun." I said
"I'm going to change into sweats so go!" she said pushing me out the door. I went to my room and into my bathroom. I brushed my hair out and threw it up in a messy bun. and brushed my teeth. I but some black vans on and walked out my room.
"ready?" aliah said walking out of her room.
"yep lets go!" I said we walked down stairs I grabbed my keys from the kitchen table and Rachel and my dad were sitting there.
