I've taken a step back from reality
To where no one knows me
Where I can be happy
And pretend to be free
Where everything is created
By my lone imagination
Where others get seated
And I rule the nation
I decide what is what
And if anyone talks back
From my mind I'll cut
None will be cut any slack
But now my world is crumbling
And everyone is running
I find myself stumbling
What happened to the world that was so stunning
My barrier was broken
And reality came crashing back in
But I still carry a token
Of when I was a leader of men
