Your body has gone cold
And your eyes are empty of life
Why were you so bold
Trying to escape your strife
Why did you have to fight
For everyone you hold dear
To see the light
When you were consumed with fear
You never asked for help
When you were thrown into the mud
You wouldn't let us help
When you were covered with blood
Now you're on the ground
And your body has gone slack
For another life your are bound
If not a forever black
I will now fight
For what you wanted
I will help others get to the light
And stand there undaunted
