Locked in my dark room
With only the night to keep me company
The day will come soon
With the light planning to harshly burn me
The people in that dangerous light
Will never plan to accept me
And the darkness would put up a fight
Because it won't let go of me
The night is holding tight to me
And does not plan to let me go
It will never let me be free
And preform acts that are low
The light seems to beckon to me
And offer an escape of this strife
It promised that I will be free
Free from this very constricting life
But the night still holds me
Trying to keep me trapped here
And It will not let go of me
Until I have escaped all my fear
