Drenched in pearls
Dressed in velvet
With a head full of curls
And a constricting corset
So much done for beauty
It's all that matters to you
But it doesn't make me happy
It only makes you
What do you expect
When you walk onto the floor
Is it respect
Or do you want more
Do you want all the attention
From everyone here
Do you have an expectation
For everyone to care
Why must we care about beauty
When it's the inside that matters
Is it because of the feeling of being pretty
Or the hope of having flatterers
