Chapter 37

((Em's POV))

I was walking next to Sarah and Izumo when it happened.

The building in front of us crumbled down with an explosion.

Izumo threw her arms around Sarah  ,and they both fell to the ground to protect themselves.

I however didn't know what to do so I let the blast knock me to the ground.

Classic me

When the dust of the building cleared Yukio was already back on his feet, his gun loaded. Rubble was everywhere

"Looks like we got trouble," Izumo said as she pulled Sarah up off of the ground.

Yukio nodded at her while still looking up ahead.

"Get ready to fight. All of you!"

Quickly I pulled out a gun that I still didn't know how to use properly. I was getting better over time, but I still mostly studied to be an Aria.

For a while no one showed themselves. It was just the four of us just standing there with our weapons ready.

Then I saw her, standing right up ahead with a bandage around where her hand was suppose to be.

Asmai.

Yukio fired as soon as he saw her shadow, but missed by a landslide.

"Now Yukio, you know that rage won't give you good aim," she laughed up ahead.

Sarah walked up next to me and snatched my gun out of my hand. Of course I didn't protest since I could barely hit anything.

She started to fire both guns at Asami, catching her on the arm.

"Damn you girl. Don't you see I'm already hurt enough?!" She growled at Sarah.

"I don't give a damn!" She yelled back. "Just surrender Asami! You got no where to go!"

"It's one against four! I'm pretty sure you are outnumbered!" I added.

Asami started to walk closer to us, holding her bleeding arm with her one hand.

"You're all just mad at me cause I killed that girl aren't you?" She smirked at us.
"I totally don't regret doing that. It felt so good to slash my knife into an innocent young girl! She was so dear to all of you!"

"SHUT UP!" Sarah screamed as she ran up to attack her. She was pushed to the ground though hard. The two guns fell out of her hands as she fell to the ground. Izumo raced to help her up.

I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth. This lady was messed up. Not just in the head, but in her soul.

Yukio still was pointing his gun at her, prepared to shoot if she attacked anyone else.

"Tell us what this is all about," he growled.

Asami just smiled and laughed.

"I can't tell you! That would be betraying my beloved Igor! And I can't just do that!"

I would have attacked her by now if I had something. Sarah took my gun from before (again, not complaining), and I only had my rosary with me. And there is no fatal verses for her.

Sarah was now standing up with an angry look still on her face. She was being held back by Izumo.

When I glanced at Yukio he was getting ready to shoot. His finger was deadly close to pulling the trigger. I quickly covered my ears, and slammed my eyes shut since I didn't want to see the sight.
