Chapter 24

((Rin's POV))

Everyday, regret kept on flowing through me. The thought of not telling her ate me on the inside. Of course, I wasn't going to tell her though! Even though Sarah told me too, Em would hate me. She would never be my friend again. Vicky told me to tell her as well, and brought up the point that everyone else was still friends with me though.
I decided then I was going to tell her, stopping this war with myself.
Silently I walked in Yukio's classroom, where it was noisy due to all the other people in it. Em was talking to her friends, but there was someone else there that I have never seen before.
"Carter! I'm so glad your here!" Em squealed as she hugged the boy.
"I thought your parents said you couldn't come until your year finished out!"
"Well I changed their mind... Em let go your suffocating me!" He said with less air in each word.
She let go automatically. All the girls started to laugh over it. They were all excited that this guy named Carter was with them, one of their old friends. Maybe this wasn't the time to tell her that I was a demon...
"Hey Rin! Come over here and meet one of my friends!" Em shouted across the room.
I sighed and made my way over there. The boys eyes scanned me, making me a bit nervous. He then smiled.
"Hi, I'm Carter! It's nice to meet you.
Em told me all about you already right when I arrived."
We shock hands a bit awkwardly, but Em jumped right back in with talking.
"The group is back together!!! I'm so happy!"
A laugh escaped my mouth, and I patted her head.
"Calm down, your really loud right now. Plus you can't stop talking."
Thing is, I didn't care. I loved it when people were talking to me. Plus the loudness makes me laugh, and I can tell that they are excited. The smile on all their faces brought a smile to mine, making the day better.

As I was heading to my next class, I was stopped when someone grabbed my arm.
"Rin, come with me," Carter said as he pulled me along.
"Wait, what the hell?! Where are we going!"
"No time to explain! It's really, really important! Em wants you there along with the others."
I didn't mind skipping class, so I just let him lead me wherever we were going.
Then I saw the other girls up ahead, but one of them was missing: Vicky. Em looked excited along with Sarah.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Vicky has a date with Shima after school! We decided to go spy on her!"
"What? Don't they want their time alone?" I asked unsure. Everything was happening so quickly! With Carter just arriving today, and now this? Plus I had to tell Em about me being the son of Satan still!
"Okay.... You all can go on ahead, I'll just stay at the dorm out of their business."
"WAIT!"
Carter was holding onto my arm again.
"You have to go! Aren't you interested?"
I sighed and pulled my arm away. Actually he was right, I was interested. Shima was my friend, what if we got caught? What would happen?
Sarah then smirked.
"Alright! Let's go spy on my ship after school!!"

Carefully I peered out of the bushes, seeing the two of them walk inside the fancy restaurant.
"All clear," I whispered.
The four of us got out of the annoying plants, and continued in after the two love birds were seated.
Silently we made our way around the waitresses and people. We hid behind an untaken table by the two of them. Em looked over at me, and whispered,
"Shima is a classy guy taking here here on their second date."
Sarah was still smirking next to me, staring at the two of them.
"My ship shall be cute, and nothing shall destroy them!"
Carter then looked over at her.
"We should totally do stuff to make their date more romantic!"
"How? We can't get caught," Em stated.
Suddenly I got a great idea.
"Hold on guys," I said as I stood up when they weren't looking. "I got the perfect idea."
Quickly I made my way to the waitress of their table, and told her that it was a date. She smiled at me, and nodded.
"I'll go get a candle! I simply love dates!"
"Thank you," I said with a smile.
Making my way back, Em pulled my arm hard to get back under the table.
"Ouch! What the hell?! What's with everyone pulling the same arm today?!"
"Nice going in telling the waitress that it was a date... She got a candle.. Now what?! It needs to be more romantic!" Carter said in agony.
Then Sarah literally almost took me out with her arm.
"YES!!! HE JUST MADE A MOVE TO HOLD HER HAND!!"
"SHHH!" We all said very loudly after.
Vicky's eyes then looked our way, but she didn't think about looking under the table. She went back to talking to her boyfriend after she looked.
"That was a close one," I sighed in relief.
"Maybe we should leave their date alone," Em suggested.
I nodded, and the other two agreed reluctantly.
Silently I watched, but the others weren't so silent.
"Just kiss her Shima!" Sarah hissed loudly.
"Go for it!!! Carter yelled after.
Em covered both their mouths, but was freaking out just as much.
"They might not kiss if you don't shut up!" She whispered, her tone excited as well.
Suddenly we were all interrupted with someone looking under the table. It just so happened to be the manager.
"If you aren't going to buy anything then exit the restaurant," He said with his voice stern.
Carter looked very frightened, with the rest of us just being silent. I wasn't going to let us be kicked out.
"We are with our friends over there, and they bought some."
"I love to here that. Please go join them," he said obviously getting irritated.
None of us knew what to do next. The manager was right I'm front of us, causing more heads to turn around by the second. Slowly Em made her way to stand up, and looked at us all.
"Come on guys, let's get out of here..."
In the distance I could see Vicky looking at us, confused on why we were here. Shima looked confused as well.
Slowly we made our way out, but someone stopped us at the door.
"Guys, wait!"
We all turned to find Vicky and Shima standing there.
"Why did you guys follow us here?" Vicky asked, but I bet she knew. "This was all Sarah's planning wasn't it."
Sarah sighed along with Carter.
"It was both our plan," they said in unison.
Vicky sighed a bit, but she smiled right after.
"I can't go on a date without you all there can I?"
Shima laughed.
"I'm surprised Rin followed you all. He has better things to do then spy on dates."
"Damn right," I agreed.
Everyone shared a laugh.
Sarah then put her arm around Vicky and Em's shoulders.
"I say we all go eat cake!"
"Is it on you then?" Em asked.
"What? I'm not paying for everyone! I'm only paying for me!"
We all made our way back into the restaurant. All of us were smiling, and Shima and Vicky didn't seem to mind that we completely ruined their date. They said we made it better, but still I didn't know how. All I knew is that everyone was happy, and smiling showing how happy they are. That's how I liked it.
