Hello fellow readers! Are you enjoying the story so far? Actually, in my opinion, it's a bit boring! So I decided to spice things up! This is where the main stuff starts to happen, so no more filler chapters ^_^. I also decided to change my spacing differently because it looks weird. I made this chapter long! *celebrates*. Anyways, I hope my readers enjoy!

((Rin's POV))

I couldn't sleep.
With Em being scared of me, how could I? It was dark since the lights were off, and everyone in True Cross was probably asleep. I was still awake in bed. Slowly I switched positions, making sure not to wake up Yukio. A sigh escaped my mouth as I switched places again. There was no use, I couldn't find a comfortable spot!

"Rin..?"

"Shit Yukio, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you."

"No it's fine... What's up?"

"I can't sleep."

He pulled on his glasses to get a better look at me. I could see his eyes widen even in the dark.

"No offense Rin, but you look terrible!"

"Tell me something I don't know," I groaned.

"What happened?"

I sighed as I stood up, and went over to his bed and sat back down next to him.

"Em is terrified of me..."

"Terrified?" He asked with confusion.

"I told her I was the son of Satan.. Now she is scared of me, and doesn't even want to talk to me as well!"

I flopped back on his bed, and he laid back as well. We both just stared at each other for a bit. He finally spoke,

"You know how everyone else reacted? They didn't know at first... Now they are over it because they see that you are a good person. She will come around eventually. Maybe tomorrow I can put you in a group because we are going to a felid trip to the woods."

"Really? You'll do that?!?!" I said, bolting upright.

He sat up as well, and laughed a bit.
"Yeah."

"Thank you Yukio!"

I hugged him tightly, making him tense up. It didn't take long for him to hug me back though.

"Your welcome Rin.."

I pulled away, and smirked a bit.
"So, you and Shiemi... Are you two a thing now?"

"I'm going to bed. Night Rin."
Silently I made a way back to my bed, and I laid down. Sleep got the best of me as I drifted off into my dreams.

Yukio, Shiemi, Izumo , Sarah, Carter, Vicky, Shima, Bon, Em, another substitute teacher, and lastly myself were going to our field trip in the woods. All around me it was peaceful, with birds chirping, but all I could think about is all the demons that lerk within the trees. Last time we were in the woods it didn't go to well. I didn't want to remember when the lanterns that came to life ever again!

For a while we walked. Em was as far away from me as possible, talking with Sarah and Izumo. Of course she's still terrified of me.

"Alright class, we're here," Yukio announced.

The camp ground was in a wide, open area, just like the last one. Although, this one has a small drop off to a creek which looked beautiful, with no trash whatsoever.

"As you can see class, the surrounding area is completely clean. We need to keep it that way, so clean up after yourselves. If not, the demons in the forest won't be to happy with their home being trashed."

We all nodded at his words. Yukio then put his stuff down.

"Right here where this backpack is is where the boys tent will go."

The girl substitute put her pack on the ground not to far away.

"And this is where the girls tent will go. Alright? Let's get setting up."

We all went to work, putting the campsite together. I kept on glancing at Em a few times, but she was to busy to notice me staring.
Oh Em, please forgive me sometime soon.

Yukio split us into groups later on that day when everything in the camp was set up. Sarah and Izumo were the first group, and the two had gotten close since Sarah arrived at the Cram School. They were thrilled to be with each other. It was no surprise that Vicky and Shima were together. They may be a couple, but they can solve problems quickly together. Carter and Bon were the third group, which made Carter's face as red as an apple. Shiemi was with Yukio and the substitute teacher, making me feel really bad for her that she was stuck with the teachers. She didn't seem to mind that choice though. Finally he announced that Em and I were together. When I glanced over at Em , her face was expressionless. Yukio explained that we needed to find some certain plant ( I wasn't really listening) by the running river that was about a mile away from the campsite. He set us off to go with a map and compass, plus a flare and matches if we truly did get lost. All of this stuff was put in one backpack that went with each group.

Em and I took a path going east. Still she didn't say one word to me. I finally spoke up a couple of minutes in.

"Let me guess, you still can't get over your past that didn't involve me at all, and you still hate my guts? Talk about a new low Em..."

"I don't hate you..."

"Sure you don't. And you ignoring me most of the camping trip? Oh, and that's not all, you ignored all of my texts yesterday!"

She stopped walking, and turned around quickly on her heel. Her dirty blonde hair wiping with her. I stopped walking as well, staring right into her green eyes.

"Let me make this clear Rin, I'm not mad at you! Okay?! Can you just let that be?! We were grouped together, so what? That doesn't mean anything!"

"It sure means something! Yukio isn't stupid! He put us together for the reason that we needed to make up, and forget all this stupid crap!"

She raised an eyebrow, and I realized that I said to much.

"How does Yukio know about you telling me? I should have known you would tell him something so stupid! You might as well have told him to put us together!"

"SO YOUR CALLING OUR FRIENDSHIP STUPID?!" I yelled at her, my voice echoing.
Before she could scream back, another voice yelled,

"Hey love birds! Stop acting like a married couple, and actually do some work for once!"

Both of us looked to see that it was Izumo who said that. Sarah was right beside her, the backpack over her one shoulder. They both walked up to where we were.
Em looked embarrassed at people finding out about our argument. Sarah just sighed.

"Seriously you two, get it together! You two were the best of friends a week ago, and now this?! I hate to see both amazing people fighting! And Em, I know you better then to lose your cool like that! You usually keep it together!"

Izumo then added,
"I'm actually not that surprised that Rin here didn't keep his mouth shut. He's the one who causes everything..."

All of us just stood there, arguing back and forth for a while. We all went silent though when a twig snapped not so far away from us. After that there was some crunching leaves.

"It's probably just a lower class demon," Em said.

After that, everything went by so quickly. Something that looked like a wild wolf jumped out of the bushes. No, if wasn't a wolf. The creature looked more like a hellhound. A high pitched scream filled my ears next.

"IZUMO!!" Sarah screamed.
