((Rin's POV))
So Sarah was apart of the Cram School now. At first people wanted to make her pay for the mess she made of the city, but a certain person thought otherwise. Mephisto thought she would make a perfect member of the cram school, and that she was just a darling....Ew.
"Rin!"
I turned around to find Em, Vicky, and Sarah walking up to me at the fountain area. A smile formed on my face.
"Hey guys."
"So your Rin," Sarah said with her eyes squinted.
She stared at me for a long time, and I was starting to get nervous. Suddenly she laughed loudly.
"Yep, I totally ship it!"
Vicky to join in.
"EM AND RIN SITTING IN A TREE!!!"
The two started to go back and forth finishing the little rhyme. I couldn't help but blush a bit, but quickly hid it. Em was as red as a tomato, hitting her friends.
"Stop it you two! It's not like that!! You are embarrassing me. SARAH AND VICKY SITTING IN A TREE."
Vicky stopped.
"No Em, just no."
I then laughed.
"Come on. We are going to be late."
We all headed to cram school, with Vicky and Sarah just whispering to each other in the back. When we got to school, Sarah was just staring at the hallway in awe.
"It's so pretty here!!"
"I know right. It's my favorite part in the school," Em said.
I opened the door to Yukio's classroom. Everyone was there except us. Shima waved to Vicky, causing her to blush and wave back.
"Who's the new girl?"
My eyes met Izumos, but she was staring at Sarah.
"Hi! I'm Sarah!!!"
"Cool... I'm Izumo. Nice to meet you..."
She then just walked away.
I mumbled something under my breath about her eyebrows, but was interrupted by Sarah.
"Do you think she would mind if I sit with her...?"
"Yeah but be careful.... She doesn't have the best of a personality," I said back.
She then gave me a grin.
"Then I will help fix that! She will have an amazing personality as soon as I'm done with her!"
She ran off towards her, making her friends smile a lot. I wonder what they were giggling about...
• • •Em and I finally had some time at lunch together. Well, only for a little bit. Every second of it still counted though. Both of us were sitting on the grass outside.
"So Em..."
"So..."
"What do you think about Sarah being here?"
She stuffed her face full of rice, but swallowed before answering,
"ITS AMAZING! All my friends are forming back together!"
I nodded.
"I'm happy for you-"
Suddenly I was cut off by Vicky and Sarah.
"Hey gurl!"
"Hey!"
The three of them were catching up on everything, and I just listened.
"Carter is probably wondering where I am... I texted him five minutes ago that I wouldn't be coming back... I feel bad about leaving him," Sarah said.
Em nodded.
"I felt bad about leaving all of you... Hey! Maybe tell him to come here! He would probably be interested in becoming an exorcist too!"
Vicky frowned.
"He can't... His parents want him to finish the year off... And it just started."
The three of them then sat in silence as they finished their lunch.
I couldn't help but say something.
"Um... So why did the demon cross the road?"
None of then responded for quite a bit. I decided not to finish that joke.
"Rin... I know you are trying to lighten the mood, but this isn't the time to," Em said.
The rest of the time we stayed silent, my heart aching a bit from her angry words.I thought again about telling Em that I was a demon... I already told Vicky and she was totally okay with it. She said I should tell Em, but I still wasn't sure... Just by a simple little demon joke..
I sighed as I walked down the hallway, not sure what to do. Everyone knew but her! I even told Vicky to tell Sarah... Why was I so afraid to tell her the truth about me being the son of Satan? It was a big deal, but she would understand...
Right?
"Rin!!!"
My eyes met Sarah running up to me. She stopped right by me.
"Hold on, give me a minute."
She panted as she rested her hand on her knees. For a bit she was just catching her breath, but then she spoke.
"You should tell her..."
"Huh?"
"Tell Em about you being the son of Satan."
It was quite again while she stood up straight up.
"I don't know," I said unsure.
She then gave me a serious look.
"I know I wouldn't want secrets kept hidden from me. Em on the other hand, is worse with people keeping secrets from her. She's known among us the most honest and dependable... Just think about it twice okay?"
She then started to walk away, but turned her head to look across her shoulder.
"I would make the choice of telling her."
Then she left me standing there alone, as it started to rain just outside on what was suppose to be a very nice day.
