((Rin's POV))
The days feel like they keep on going by. There are twenty four hours in a day, but it seems like a couple slips out of your grasp. Sitting on the roof usually made me think of these things which I was doing now. This morning, I made sure to wake up early.Of course it isn't to study! With a test today, I didn't really care. All I cared about was getting to get to talk to Em again at school.
"Hi Rin!"
"Oh, hey Kuro."
"Wanna play? You woke up early."
"Not this morning... Sorry. I have things on my mind."
"Like what?"
I stayed quite for a bit as the crisp morning air cooled me off.
"I don't know... Just a bunch of different things in one."
The little cat jumped on my shoulder, and nuzzled me softly.
"I'm sorry. Maybe after your classes we can play!"
"Yeah, that sounds great."
Gazing around the area, I realized how beautiful it all was. All the lights shining in True Cross.
A perfect morning, I hadn't had one in a long time.• • •
"Take your seats everyone," Yukio said as class started.
We all took our seats. Em was sitting with... Bon?! Why is she sitting with him?! She could have sit behind Shiemi and I.
"Since I ran into such a nice student this morning, I'm going to give you all some time to study for the test. You can move around to study with others if you so wish too. If you have an interest to of course."
Yes, time to talk to Em.
I need to confront her on that damn Bon she's sitting next to.
Quickly I got up, and went over to her.
"Hey Em."
She looked up at me, and gave me a little smile.
"He didn't say how many we could study with... I'm already studying with Bon."
That punk gave me the most evil smirk I had seen from a human.
"Actually Em, I didn't come for that. Can I talk to you for a minute?"
She gently got up, and nodded.
"Of course."
I walked over to the back of the room with her, but by the desks to look like we were just moving somewhere to study. Those green eyes kept on staring at me.
"What do you need to talk to me about?" She asked.
"Um... Why are you hanging out with that jerk? What the hell are you thinking?! That little shit is a pain in the ass."
"Rin, he's nice to me. I like the group he's in and him! Plus they help me with memorizing some ancient scriptures and parts of the bible.
We already have the Aria homework memorized due tomorrow."
My eyes quickly left hers, not returning.
"You could always hang out with me at lunch I guess..."
"That's the time where we memorize.. I'm sorry Rin but I'm going to go study."
She walked back to her place by Bon. Thing is, I didn't like her place.
Not one bit.• • •
The test was so hard!!! He must have tricked us on every question. I didn't understand a damn thing on that paper.
"Most of you did excellent. Some of you could have done better."
Blah blah blah, he says that every time. Everyone he handed the test back to at the end of class looked happy at there grades. Shiemi smiled at me.
"I got a 92!"
"Good for you."
"Rin."
I turned the other way to find a bad test grade being handed out to me.
"You were the only some. Study next time."
A 65, great. This horrible day will never end. I quickly stuffed the paper away, but my eyes caught a glimpse of Em laughing at something probably Bon told her.
That stupid Bon, to hell with him. He took a friend away from me, and I don't take that very lightly.
