((Em's POV))

All of us made our way out of the tall building, and back outside. By the looks of the flying demons frantically waiting to attack, we didn't have much time. On our way back to Shima, we ran into other exorcists trying to take care of the problem. A woman saw Yukio and sighed in relief.

"Yukio, I'm so glad your back," she said as we all walked up to her.

"What's been happening? I only just got back today, but the forest is basically clear of demons. They all must be here in the city."

"You got that right," she sighed and pulled out her gun, loading it up with bullets. "We learned we have about a 1/3 of a chance of hitting any demon with a bullet. Even I'm having trouble." She put her gun back in its holster once more.

"What about the Arias and Tamers? Have they had any luck?" He asked.
She shock her head no sadly, and looked at her fellow comrades still trying to shot demons down.

"Sadly no one can recite passages. The demons are way to quick, and attacks them before they can even finish a line. The Tamers basically are doing just as good as us Dragoons are."

Yukio sighed and looked at all of us. Personally I was afraid now. Only a 30% chance of hitting? And Arias have a 0% chance! This situation is bigger than I ever thought it could be.

"Sarah, Em, Carter, and Bon. Can you guys go meet up with Shima? He isn't that far away."

We all nodded, and made our way around the battle. The others watched as we left, and my eyes met those blue flaming ones right away. Rin's eyes showed worry.

"We need to get going and fast. These guys need help getting rid of these demons. And who knows, Igor can let them attack innocent citizens whenever he pleases," Bon said as he started to walk faster.

Carter and I exchanged looks, and he quickly ran up to Bon. He put a hand on his shoulder, and that seemed to calm Bon down. I only smiled at the two of them. Those two were really close.

"Looks like someone has the hots for Bon," Sarah whispered in my ear next to me. I couldn't help but laugh slightly because it was true.

All of us only had to walk five minutes to get to where Shima was, still holding Vicky's body. I couldn't look at my dead friend limp in his arms.

"I don't want to let her go.."

"We are going to have a funeral for her Shima.. Don't worry," Bon sighed and put a hand on his best friend's shoulder.

"I know but... It's just hard to believe that the girl I love is dead..."

"We have to head back to the others," Carter said with a frown. "If you want to come with us that's fine. But if you don't we understand."

He shock his head no and took a shaky breathe.

"I wanna be with her until we take her to an Undertaker..."

Carter nodded, and all of us headed back to the group. Still I was walking by Sarah, who wouldn't meet my eyes whenever I looked at her. I wouldn't blame her. All of this was devastating, and I am just trying so hard not to cry.

Carter was walking ahead of us with Bon. The whole world seemed to be gloomy at this very moment.

"What are we going to about all these demons?" I managed to say.
Sarah just glanced over at me and sighed.

"We fight."

"But we are out numbered!"

"Does it look like any of us care Em? We have to try and protect the city we live in!" Carter snapped.

"But so you think we can do it? All the exorcists in the city along with us? Look at the odds! The chance of hitting a demon is 30% now. I don't know about you, but that's a pretty damn low chance!"
Bon just sighed and looked at the three of us in anger.

"I've done it before Em. You just need to have faith."

And with that the three of them all walked ahead of me, leaving me to walk behind. I could tell everyone was tired of it all.

When we got back I went over to Rin who was sitting down taking a break.

"Hey..."

"Hey Em."

I sat down next to him in the grass. He passed me over a water bottle, and I quickly thanked him.

"So where's Shima?"

"He's going to look after Vicky's body until all of this is over."

"We need to find Igor and fast. Yukio is making a team of the strongest people to go."

I nodded and sighed. I certainly wasn't going to be going. It was going to be him, Sarah, and Yukio for certain. Even though I try so hard...

"Em? What's up?"

"Nothing... Good luck defeating Igor."

"What are you talking about? Your going to come with us. Or go and find Asami cause we have to stop her too."

"But you said only the strongest get to go... I'm certainly the weakest.. I wanted to be better than my old man, but that isn't happening."

Rin then got up and held his hand out to me.
"I don't understand you today Em. You're not acting like yourself. I'm sure we will fight together in the end. Maybe a nice battle will clear your mind."

I sighed and took his hand. He pulled me up quickly, and I smiled a little.

"Yeah, that sounds nice right now."

The teams were set up. Rin and I were split apart of course, so so much for fighting together. In his group was Sheimi, Carter, and Bon. The other group that I was in was Sarah, Yukio, Izumo, and me to go fight Asami.

"Alright. I split everyone in groups depending on what the other exorcists wanted as well. Rin's group will go stop Igor, and my group will put Asami in her place," Yukio said as he looked around at all of us.

We all nodded and split up. I wished everyone luck in my head. We didn't need anymore lives lost today.

I walked next to Yukio since Sarah and Izumo were deep in conversation about something. Of course Yukio looked like he didn't want to talk, so I just walked awkwardly by them all.

I sighed as I looked ahead. Where would Asami be in the city? She could be with Igor... Of course no one knew where both of them were so this was going fantastic so far.

"Em, aren't you going to walk with us?" Izumo looked back and asked.

"Um, sure."I said and walked up next to Sarah. Although the two went back into their conversation, and I didn't know where to jump in at.

"It feels like we've been walking forever!" I groaned. I'm pretty sure everyone's feet were killing them.

"We can't give up!" Yukio snapped. "We have to hurry up and find her."

I felt the tiredness behind my eyes at that moment. When was the last time I even slept? Or any of us for that matter. A nap sure does sound nice right now.

"Let's hurry up then. I hear a bed calling my name," I said and walked faster. They all followed closely behind.

Wherever Asami was, we were going to find her. She killed one of my friends, and she's certainly going to pay for it.
