((Rin's POV))
I felt bad, really bad actually.
I'm so stupid! I shouldn't have brought up the topic of her old friends. She must miss them a lot, and I just made things worse.
Thinking about all of this, I was heading to the infirmary. I knocked on the cold, wooden door slowly.
"Come in," my girlfriends voice responded.
I opened the door, and came in. Yukio was looking much better than before. He had lost his sickly look, and was looking like he was recovering.
"Damn Yukio, you are one tough guy," I said as I sat down.
He laughed, and it didn't sound hoarse this time.
"I was always tough. Looks like you didn't notice it before today."
Shiemi giggled.
"Your so funny Yuki."
He gave her a smile.
"Thank you Shiemi."
The two of them stared at each other for more than I felt comfortable with.
"Ahem!"
They both snapped out of it.
"S-Sorry Rin. I'm going to go get some more water."
She got up quickly, and left the room. That was strange. When the door closed completely, I looked at my wounded brother.
"What the hell was that about?!"
"What are you talking about Rin."
"The long stare. You know damn well that she is my girlfriend! Get that in your big brain of yours!"
"Rin, I don't feel that way towards her. Stop assuming such things."
Silence fell over the room. No, that was weird to be just friends. Who knows what else they did! They could be secretly dating now!!!!
"Yukio, I want to stay here tomorrow."
"Why?"
"Because I'm worried about you."
"Rin-"
"I don't care about school! I did well on my last couple of quizzes just to see you get better! I even read an Aria correctly just to see your wounded ass!! So be thankful!!!"
Again, the same silence filled the room again. I could tell he was thinking.
"Rin, if this is about Shiemi and I have a little what you so call a little thing, your wrong. You can stay, but I'm not flirting with her in any way. I just want you to know that."
I nodded.
"I know..."
What made me turn around was the door opening again. Shiemi was back with a bottle of water.
"Here you go Yuki."
"Thank you Shiemi. Since you helped me so much, I'll buy you some new flowers for your garden."
She giggled.
"Thank you so much Yuki! I would love that."
Yeah, what a lie you told Yukio.
That bastard.
