Chapter 5

((Em's POV))

Okay, I felt really bad leaving Rin.
I can't help it though. The guys want me to hang out with them all the time. I don't get why he has something against Bon. What exactly happened between those two?
"Hey Em over here!" Kone called.
I smiled a little bit, but felt someone staring at me. Quickly I ran over towards the guys.
"Hey everyone."
"Hey Em," Shima said patting the spot next to him.
Since it was getting warmer, we all sat outside to eat in the grass. I carefully sat down in a shirt sitting position.
"So are we going to work on memorizing."
"What is there to memorize? We already have what we were supposed to memorized. Let's just talk and have fun," Bon said with a smirk.
I nodded while laughing.
"Yeah that sounds great."
Suddenly I got a cold chill in this warm weather. Strangely, I felt like someone was looking at me. I quickly turned around to find Rin with Shiemi. He quickly looked away as if he wasn't staring in the first place.
"Is something wrong Em?"
"No... Everything's fine." I said as I looked back at the three boys.
That was weird...

After Aria class, Shima was proud that he got to read. Since we have been working on it, he did very well.
"It's all thanks to you guys that I did well. If it weren't for you I would have embarrassed myself."
We had a free period now, so we were just sitting by the fountain talking. I was gently sitting on the edge, careful not to get wet.
"Oh, It's nothing. I actually worked on my memorization skills with my old man. He's pretty awesome at it."
"Your dad must be pretty cool."
I sighed, and looked away.
"Actually he isn't my-"
"HEY EM!!"
Everyone's attention in the little group turned to Rin running up to us.
"Oh... Hey Rin." I responded.
He sighed.
"I'm going to cut to the chase okay? Stop ignoring me and start talking to me."
Before I could say anything Bon cut me off.
"Get lost Okumura! Don't you
See you doesn't want to talk to you?!?!"
"How do you know! Your not her!!"
"Guys, stop it- WAHH!!"
Next thing I knew, I was laying in the fountain.
"Em! Look what you did Bon!"
"It wasn't me! It was you."
Shima and Kone helped me up out of the fountain.
"Thanks guys," I said.
Rin stopped fighting with Bon, and looked at me.
"Hey, are you okay?"
"I'm fine...."
He gave me a small smile.
"Can we hang out tomorrow?"
"She's our friend!" Bon barked back.
I only smiled at the two of them, wiping wet hair out of my face.
"I'll be friends with both of you. So now I have a total of.... Five friends!"
The two of them just looked at each other, angry. That only made me laugh.
Be friends with all of them.
Yeah, that's perfect.
