THE PICTURE FITS PERFECTLY😂
Faith's POV
I yawned and stretched, my arms sprawled out against the silky red sheets. 'Wait. Red sheets? I don't have red sheets!'
I bolted upright, and look at the bed. I sighed in relief, 'I wasn't kidnapped... BUT I'M IN THE SWAN BED!' I thought giddily. I got up and went to the door of the bedroom. I looked out, and got a sense of deja vu.
I smiled and started humming, then softly singing under my breath,
"I remember there was mist
Swirling mist upon a vast glassy lake
There were candles all around and on the lake there was a boat
And in the boat there was a man"
When I ended the tune, my feet had guided me to the living room. Erik was on the large couch, asleep. His mask was crooked and lips parted. His dark eyelashes covered his big golden eyes.
"Uh, hooooot!" I whispered to myself and crouched down, and adjusted his mask. Even though I know what he looks like, I want to gain his trust. I ran my fingers over his forehead and midnight black, soft hair. After a minute I sat up and went to the kitchen.
When I got to the kitchen, it was so bare. 'I need to go buy some food and appliances soon.' I looked through the almost empty cupboards, and took the ingredients for pancakes out.
Around fifteen minutes later, I was finished. I wiped off my hands on my jeans, and got out the butter, syrup, plates, and silverware. I set them on the table and debated if I should wake Erik. I finally decided to wake him, he needed to eat a lot more than he is used to. I walked into the living room, and knelt down next to Erik again.
"Erik~." I softly called. "Erik, time to wake up, I made breakfast for you." I shook his shoulder.
"Mmm...No." He said sleepily, turning slightly.
I smiled and leaned in closer, "Are you sure~." I breathed, making my morning breath hit his nose.
His eyes shot open, glowing bright yellow, and he held his nose "UGH, MY GOD WOMAN!" he gasped for air, and fell off the couch.
I was laughing so hard my sides started to hurt. I fell backwards on the carpet, rolling around.
"Your's is just as bad as mine! You need a mint, badly!" I answered, chuckling and smirking in triumph.
He rolled over to lay on his back on the rug. He turned his head and looked at me confused, "Mint?"
I laughed. "It's a candy that makes your breath smell good."
He nodded and I stood up, grabbing his hands and pulling his feather-like weight along with them.
"Now c'mon! The pancakes will get cold." I dragged him along behind me. When we reached the kitchen I pulled him in front of me, stood on my tippy toes to reach his shoulders, and shoved them down. Making him sit in one of the chairs.
He glared at me playfully, mumbling something about me being not caring about personal space and boundaries. I giggled and sat down at the other end of the table.
"Now, I want you to eat two pancakes as a start. You need to bulk up, Mister." I said.
He humphed, and then took a bite. His eyes widened. "These are good." he said.
I smiled and straightened up my posture with pride. He rolled his eyes at me, still chewing.
I waved my fork at him, "You know. You do that a lot. It makes you look like my cat." I said bluntly, taking a bite of my pancake.
"Maybe I am a cat." He retaliated. I shrugged. We both continued eating.
When we finished, we cleaned up, and went into the music room. I sat down on the love seat, and he sat down at the organ. I brought up that I needed to buy supplies for the kitchen, if I was going to stay for a little while.
"Oh all right, but I want you to wear a dress, people will mistaken you as a whore if you don't. And, they've never seen the 21st century style."
I stuck my tongue out at him and sat up. "Ok. Where are these dresses I need to wear?" He ignored me, and walked to the closet in my room, and I followed.
"Ok, here, pick what you want. Don't ask why I have these...it's personal." Erik said, then walked out, shutting the door as well.
I watched him leave. Shrugging, I picked out a blue day dress, with white trim. Luckily, this one didn't need a corset. I put it on and it fit perfectly. I fist bumped the air, and walked over to the mirror. I fixed my hair to a half up half down, hairstyle. I grabbed a black cloak from the closet, and put on blue flats. I quickly studied myself in the mirror again.
"Mm, girl. You look dang sexy." I said to myself, twirling around. I smoothed the dress down and walked out.
I made my way to the music room again, and Erik turned around from his place at the organ. His eyes widened.
Taking that as a bad sign, I looked down at my attire, "What? Do I look bad? Is it too much?"
"N-No, you just...That was a totally different change then I expected." He said, shaking his head a bit.
I put my hands on my hips and pouted, glaring at him.
"That was probably taken the wrong way, wasn't it." he said chuckling.
"Yes, you worded it horribly." I clapped my hands together, "Now. Where's the closest market and do you have a few francs to spare?" I asked.
He nodded and stood up, grabbing a bag off of a coffee table. Walking over, he handed me a pouch of coins, "This way. I'll lead you out to the alley closest to the market." Erik guided me out to the shoreline, grabbed his cloak and put it on in one swift motion. I followed him into the boat.
Once we got out on the other side, he walked into the dark tunnels, without a lantern. I stayed on his heels so I wouldn't lose my way. Our destination was found at a big wooden door. "Can you find your way back when you're done?" he asked.
"Yes, I can handle myself. See you in a bit." I said, before slipping behind the door. I closed it, and put my hood up. Setting off out of the dark alley. And into the foggy, quiet, early morning.
