IMPORTANT NOTE/REVIEW: When a week goes by in Erik's time, 1 day goes by in the present. I'm doing this so Faith can spend time with him, and her parents won't get to worried. They trust her and don't mind what she's doing, but want her to stay safe. And, it's been about 8 months, so 31 days (a full month) in her family's time.

Now.... *ahem*

Faith's POV

"Nadiiiiiir! Don't gooooo!" I whined, hugging him from behind.

He laughed, "Faith, we've been through this already! I'll be back in a few weeks!"

"But that's so looooong! Can't you wait till tomorrow morning!?" I said in a dramatic voice, "Besides! I can't live with that Man-Cat all alone!" I said, pointing to the living room doorway a few feet away, where Erik was before I hugged Nadir. At the end of my finger was his hard toned chest. I yelped.

"SEE!" I yelled proving my point, "I had no idea he moved!" Erik and Nadir chuckled as Nadir's moving form started dragging me to the boat.

"You'll be fine! You survived before I came, stop being so dramatic!" Nadir turned around and grabbed my arms gently.

He hugged me and I buried my face in his chest. It was silent for awhile.

"Y'know, I'm starting to think you don't want me to go." The Persian quietly joked.

I chuckled and let go, "Please be safe? Being a chief policeman isn't the safest job."

Nadir smiled at me, his somewhat aged, tan skin crinkling slightly around his mouth. "Will do, Faith."

I stepped back and let him and Erik get into the boat.

"I'll be back in a bit, Faith." said Erik as he rowed them away.

I smirked, "Kay, E." I waved at Nadir, "See you soon Daroga!"

"Goodbye, Faith!" He waved and the boat turned a bend in the lake and vanished.

I stood there in silence for a few seconds, then turned on my heel and walked through the living room, and to my bedroom. I opened the door and was met with the sight of Ayesha sleeping on the swan bed.

"Thanks for reminding me, we need to get Erik an actual bed. It can't be comfortable on the couch..." I said, petting her. She purred in response.

I got up and went to the mahogany dresser that was against the left stone wall of the dimly lit room. The small time machine was on the top of the dresser.

'I should go visit my family soon. I miss them.' I thought with a small, apologetic smile. 'I wonder if they "pulled" me out of school too... Since I didn't go for the last semester. Hopefully they said I was being homeschooled ...' I sighed and knelt down to the bottom drawer.

I opened it and pulled out a black tank top, underwear, a sports bra, and a pair of baggy grey sweat pants. I closed the drawer and went over to the chair in the right corner of the room to grab my towel. Walking out the bedroom door, I turned left to the washroom. I closed the wooden door behind me and locked it, and set down my clothes and towel on the seat of the toilet Erik made.
