I hope you guys enjoy this! I freaked out when I saw that this has 3k reads!!! *confetti magically appears, falling behind me*

Erik's POV

I woke up to Ayesha licking my mask, which made it rub against my skin. I grumbled and pushed her off the couch, and rolled over. She hissed in annoyance and jumped back up on me. She then purposely dug her claws into my blanket-covered hip.

"Ow!" I whisper-yelled, and sat up straight, causing Ayesha to fall again, but on her feet this time. She ran out of the sitting room, having enough with my crankiness.

I rubbed my eyes, and adjusted my mask. Looking up at the clock above the mantle, I let my eyes focus on the hands that read "7:00"

"Should I wake Faith?' I pondered this as I looked upon her sleeping form. Her back was towards me, and her face was snuggled into the crook of the love seat. Her blanket rose every time she took in a breath.

She stirred and flipped over to where she was facing me, her face peaceful with slumber. 'I don't think I should wake her up just yet...'

I stood up and walked over to the music room, which held my organ and piano. I sat at the piano, rubbing my palms on my crinkled pants. I set my fingers on the cold keys and played a quiet, warm lullaby. I swayed slightly to the music, and closed my eyes.

The music took me into a different world. Flowers and green meadows filled my imagination, and spring leaked out of a nearby boulder, while animals drank from it. The cloudless blue sky greeted me, and I smiled.

I was startled by a sudden clap. I jumped and my mind exited the day dream. My head snapped to the side to see a just-awakened Nadir at the door frame. He was leant against it, with a content smile on his face, his hands in the position of applause. He wore his beige dress top and black pants, such as I with my white shirt and black pants. They were crinkled as well.

"That was beautiful, Erik. It's been awhile since I heard you play." Nadir's thick accent filled my ears, we both spoke French, since Faith was asleep still. He yawned and walked in, seating himself on a chair.

"How'd you sleep?" He said, while folding his hands and crossing his legs.

"Just fine, thank you. You?" I mumbled slightly, looking over my shoulder at him. I fixed a messy pile of papers and compositions on the top of the piano.

He nodded, "Fine as well, that bed is quite unique. I've never seen such a thing. Who ever thought of putting a bed in a swan carving?"

"Me, actually." I said, while turning around to face him. "I built it you know."

Nadir chuckled. "Such dry humor you have, Erik. You seem to have been working on it though."

I rolled my eyes, and he sighed. I tinkered with my quill and paper stacks, we were silent for a few minutes.

"Well." He interrupted the silence. He dropped his hands on the arms of the chair, "I'm in the mood for tea, would you like some?" He stood up and started to walk to the kitchen, talking over his shoulder.

"Yes I would, thank you, Nadir." He turned the corner and disappeared.

'I should go see of Faith wants some.' I stood up and walked to the sitting room. The clock read "7:45" this time.

I tiptoed to the love seat and stood there awkwardly. I haven't done this in awhile. I cleared my throat.

"Um... Faith? Are you awake?"

No reply.

"Faith?" I shook her shoulder. She groaned and waved me off.

"Faith get up, would you like some tea?"

"Idontwantnodamntea." She mumbled tiredly into her blanket.

"Well. Someone isn't a happy riser..." I looked around the room awkwardly, frowning. I'm not used to starting conversations. "You should get up anyways, Nadir is up as well...It'd be polite to serve him breakfast." I scratched the back of my head.

"You do it yourself E, this is your home anyways." She said, moving the covers away from her mouth a bit. E is a nickname she started calling me a few days ago.

I sighed, "Please, Faith? The only thing I can make is oatmeal..." She groaned and snuggled into the covers more.

I nudged her again. Nothing. I poked her face. Nothing. I pinched her nose. "What do you want from me woman!!" She yelled into the covers. I smiled then groaned in annoyance.

"Get up."

"No."

"Now."

"Never."

"I'll force you."

"You'll never take me alive, bitch."

That's it. I grabbed her shoulder and pulled her off the love seat. She fell into the floor with a thump and she let out an "oomph." She then wrapped the blue blanket around her more and proceeded to roll under the couch.

I then hear a muffled, "Come and get me now!"

I grumbled in anger and got on my knees and looked under the couch. Faith's face is the only inch of her I can see, everything else is covered with blanket. I sneered.

"Come out now Faith."

"Nah. I'm comfy." She wiggled a little, to emphasize it.

I huff and reach my hand under the couch to grab her arm. I then felt teeth playfully nibble on my fingers and I yelled in surprise. I yanked my hand out and I hear a evil snicker.

I wipe my hand off on my shirt.

Nadir then walks in, with three cups of tea, and looks at me weirdly.

"Erik.... What are you doing in front of the couch..." He slowly said.

I sigh and run a hand through my hair. "Faith's being a child!" I say, slapping my hands on my kneeled knees.

"Am not!" A voice under the couch exclaimed.

"Shut up." I mumble. She snickers again evilly.

Nadir shakes his head, and bends down slightly, "Good Morning, Faith."

"Morning!!"

Nadir laughed, and set the tray down. "Teas on!"

Faith then proceeded to aggressively wiggle her way out from under the couch. I see her troubled, and I grab the blanket and pull her out.

"Weeeeee!" She said, then laid her head in my lap. She looked up at me, smiling.

"Hi!" She said sweetly, and cocked her head to the side, "Mad?"

I smirked, "Very."
