Faith's POV

We walked in silence until we got to the secret door behind the curtains of Box 5. He pushed me behind him, and I grabbed onto his cloak a bit so I'd know when he'd move. It was extremely dark.

I felt light hit my eyes and I flinched a bit, looking up to see Erik opening the door. He peeked out and walked all the way into the box. I guess he was making sure the maid wasn't in there.

He walked about three feet away from the edge, making sure no light hit him. I followed quietly. I definitely wasn't as stealthy as Erik, but I was close. I've learned a lot from him.

He placed a large hand gently on the small of my back and moved me in front of him so I could see the view. I quietly gasped as the Opera Populaire's theater was bore to me.

Beautiful plush red seats covered the ground in straight lines. I saw a couple of maids scurrying around to polish and clean them. Gorgeous paintings and decorations filled the walls all the way up to the stage. The stage itself wasn't really anything to look at but the pretty curtains, gold trim, and the golden angel at the very top with its wings spread out was amazing.

I watched the dancers rehearse for the upcoming performance. I envied their ability to dance so beautifully and effortlessly. The orchestra was making quite a ruckus as a few of them tuned their instruments.

I smiled with excitement, but I felt Erik's gloved hand reach up and gently lay his finger under my chin. He than slowly guided my head backwards till I was facing the ceiling. "You're forgetting the best part, Faith." He said. You could tell he was proud of his opera house.

My eyes came into contact with the ceiling painted like the heavens and the breath taking chandelier. I felt my mouth drop a bit in awe as I stared at its enormous size and gorgeous crystals. It must've cost a fortune! It glistened and twinkled so brightly, I thought I was staring at the sun itself.

I turned my head to Erik, "Incredible. I'm at loss for words. I-its just...Incredible." I breathed, looking back up at it.

"I'm glad you enjoy it so much. It's been here for five years now. The opera house itself though, has been around for about eight years." He said, his hands clasped behind his back.

I crossed my arms in front of me and sideways glanced at Erik. "I wonder what handsome man helped build it?

He side glanced me as well, but with confusion and surprise, "You think Monsieur Garnier is handsome?"

I laughed into my hand and tried to keep quiet. I settled down and shook my head. "No." I said, "I was talking about you, silly."

I could tell he was blushing a little by the way his eyes glowed a bit brighter. "Oh." He looked down to the ground, embarrassed and flattered.

I smiled and walked in front of his large form and patted his cheek that wasn't hid. "Awe don't be embarrassed Erik. You were confused, I wasn't clear with where I was going with it."

He didn't say anything so I turned around creeped up to the edge of the box.

"Don't be visible, and be careful." He warned gently.
