OK IDK WHY BUT I WANT TO SAY THIS.

MY STORY, AS YOU CAN TELL ALREADY, IS NOT GOING TO HAVE THE SAME PLOT AND STORY LINE AS NORMAL POTO BOOKS.

THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY. READ ON. 😂

Faith's POV

I sighed anxiously as I broke from my family's grasps again, "I'll be back soon, don't worry." I said while looking at all of their tired, sad faces.

It's now 11:30 pm and I needed to get back to Erik, since his week is over. I'm anxious because I have no idea how it's affected him, and I want to get back as soon as possible.

"Faith?" I heard Brody say groggily.

I turned and looked down at him, brushing my hand through his hair, "Yes?"

He smiled slightly at me, "Are you happy? With Erik?"

I blushed and smiled widely, "Very. And I should go back to him now. It was nice seeing you guys again. Goodbye everyone, I love you all."

I blew a kiss, and my brothers and parents waved at me, as I shut the door.

I let out a breath, I've been telling them goodbye for the past half hour, but they kept keeping me there longer.

I quickly jumped off the porch and ran into the dark, side field. As I got to my usual spot, I picked up the time machine from my pocket and brought it out. I did the quick math in my head on what day it will be back in Paris, 1862.

My eyes widened and I gasped, "It's Erik's 21st birthday today!!!" I "awed" and squealed. I needed to do something special for him! I didn't know what to do though...

I thought for a bit, pacing the grassy area.

"Ah ha! I got it!" I clapped my hands and quickly went back inside through my bedroom window, not wanting any more attention. After a few minutes I snuck back out with my bag and ran to the field.

I started the time machine. It sputtered and shook, the purple lights formed and I jumped in. I was finally going back to my man.

Erik's POV

"I'm going to buy us some more food, Erik. I'll be back!" Nadir yelled from the front of the lair, "I can't stand your depressing music any longer. I've tried everything!"

I glared at the direction he was speaking from, "Fine with me. I'm sick of hearing your voice."

I heard him scoff, then the water being pushed aside by the gondola. Soon, I couldn't hear Nadir anymore and I knew I was alone once again.

Sighing, I stood up and shuffled into Faith and I's bedroom. I was so tired, I couldn't ignore it any longer. I plopped down, sighing in relief as the fluffy mattress engulfed me.

Just as I was drifting off, a sudden noise awoke me. 'I know I've heard that whooshing sound before...' My eyes shot open.

Faith's POV

I gracefully stepped out of the purple mist, and into the living room, and it was swallowed back up by the tiny machine. I fixed my hair, threw the bag to the side, and started to spread open my arms to stretch.

I called out in a corny TV-Show voice, "HONEY~! I'M HO~-OOF!"

Something tall, lean and boney collided with me, and I was smushed against a white silk shirt. Two muscular arms wrapped around my waist and picked me up, swinging me around.
