Faith's POV
*A Week Later*
"Hold still!"
"No!"
"Erik I'm going to poke your eye out if you don't."
"I didn't want this! I wanted to read!" He said as he wiggled around in the chair, his opened book falling to the floor.
"You made fun of me!" I whined, playfully as I sat in his lap facing him.
"It was a joke! You look beautiful without makeup I promise!" He said, desperately, trying to push me off and run for it.
"Well now I get to play my joke! ERGH! Sit still you giant beanpole!" I grumbled, pushing his shoulders back into the chair.
He laughed at my comment, but froze when the blush brush came near him. He pushed his head back in the chair, trying to get away from it.
----- fifteen minutes before -----
"Hey, Faith?" Erik called as he entered the bathroom.
"Yes?" I said as I stopped applying concealer and looked up at him.
"Where's the cookie jar- what are you doing?" He questioned abruptly, his eyes widening and his face going slack with confusion. He looked at the colored dots and blotches on my skin as I held the beauty blender in my hand.
"My makeup?" I said, in an obvious tone. "I do this almost everyday, E."
"Well I've never seen you do it?" He said, coming up and standing behind me. I looked up at his unmasked face in the mirror. My ponytail brushed against his chest.
He was clothed in his usual white silk shirt and black trousers. His gloves were off and his had one hand in his pocket as the other picked up my mascara.
I giggled at his cute, curious face. "I do it usually after I shower or when you leave. It gives me something to do," I shrug.
Erik looked down at me. I watched him in the mirror as he slowly brought the mascara bottle up to my face and poked my cheek with it.
I laughed, grabbing it from him. His lips curled up a little. He was silent for awhile as he watched me.
"Care to explain why you use it? You don't look any different without it."
I gasped in mock shock, "Did you just call me ugly?"
His eyes widened looking down at me in the mirror, "What?! No! I didn't say anything like that!"
I humphed, acting as if I was insulted, "Yeah right." He smirked, seeing I was joking. Sighing dramatically, he turned on his heel and walked towards the doorway.
I blended the concealer into my face as Erik walked out of the connected bedroom.
"That stuff on your face is too light. You look like a vampire." He called out nonchalantly.
