Chapter 6

BEY POV

So today I was feeling so much better than I have felt in a long time I guess jewel really helped brighten my mood.So I've been really happy all day.I woke up and jewel was right up under me still sleeping but Jay wasn't in the room.Im learning to trust him so I laid my head back down on my pillow and not too long afterwards I smelled food.Then jewel started moving around until she woke up.

Bey:"hey pretty lady."

Jewel:"hey bb is that food I smell?"

Bey:"haha I believe so let's go check it out."

Me and jewel walked down the steps and I heard 7/11 playing(this is so cliche but I didn't want to say taylor swift.)I peeped my head into the kitchen and Jay was fixing breakfast dancing to my song.

Legs movin side to side smack smack it in the air

I went back to get my phone the whole time jewel is following me.I raced back into the kitchen and started recording this then jewel went up behind him and started mocking his dancing I was trying so hard not to laugh.

Spinnin while my hands up then I'm tippin while my hands up.

Jay turned around and I busted out laughing and cut the camera off.

Jay:"that's how you do me when I try to make breakfast for y'all hungry selves."

Bey:"I'm sorry babe that was some funny shit."

Jay:"mmhmm well it's not gonna be funny when you not eating this morning."

Bey:"and it's not gonna be funny when u don't get none from me for a month."

Jay:"hold up hold up wait a minute I was kidding now sit down and eat you some food and delete that video."

Bey:"that's more like it and to late already posted it on Instagram."

Hw looked at me with a straight face then I remembered jewel was in the room but she had already made herself a plate and was sitting down grubbing.

Bey:"is it good baby."

She looked up and nodded cause she had too much food in her mouth to talk.Me and Jay looked at each other and started laughing.

Bey:"he lets go go-karting later."

Jewel:"what's that?"

Jay:"it's where you go drive these cars around a track like a race."

Jewel:"ooo yea lets do that."

Bey:"ok well let's get to it jewel come on so we can go change and get cute."

Jewel:"yesssss bye Jay Jay."

Jay:"bye baby."

Me and jewel went and changed clothes and we decided to wear matching clothes so that people knew we were together and got ready to go.we walked back downstairs and we got in the car where Jay was already waiting.

Bey:"Jay we gotta go get her a car seat later."

Jay:"o yea thx for reminding me I'll go get one tomorrow."

The car ride was a comfortable silence filled with the radio and jewels ohhh's and ahh's for the New York skyline.I looked back at her and seen her smiling from ear to ear as she looked out the window.Not to long after I turned around we pulled up at the go-karting place.

Bey:"jewel were here!"

We got out the car and walked up to the register to pay for our rides we decided girls against Jay.

Jewel:"Jay Jay me and bb gonna beat you."

Bey:"you better tell him baby he gonna choke on our smoke."

Jay:"well just see about that."

We got in the carts and jewel came and sat on my lap we waited for the light to turn green and we were off.Since jewel was sitting in my lap I felt her laughing and screaming having fun.Feeling that feeling was so contagious I couldn't help but laugh with her.I looked to the side of me and seen Jay cruising way behind us.Then when I turned back around he sped up and was right beside us.This was the final lap and girls run the world right.

Jewel:"faster mommy faster he catching up."

Bey:"ok."

Wait did she just call me mommy?Before I could even process what happened Jay crossed the finish line half a second before us.Jewel got out and ran to the scoreboard.

Jewel:"aww dang it Jay Jay beat us."

Bey:"it's ok watch this."

I walked over to Jay as he was getting out his kart.

Bey:"ok ok you win mr.bigman but me and jewel hungry can you take us to McDonald's."

Jay:"yea whatever anything for my baby."

Bey:aww thank you."

Jay:"tah I wasn't talking bout you."

Bey:"o ok I got chu wait till we get home."

We walked out and got back in the car I laid my head against the window because I was feeling slightly nauseous again.I looked back up and seen we were at the McDonald's.

Bey:"jewel baby what do you want?"

Jewel:"umm I can have anything I want?"

Bey:"yes baby whatever you want."

Jewel:"ok can I get a 20 piece nugget with honey mustard."

Jay:"ok can I get one Big Mac combo with a Sprite and one Mcchicken with iced tea and a 20 piece nugget WITH honey mustard sauce."

Lady at drive through:"will that be all for you tonight?"

Jay:"do y'all want anything else?"

Jewel:"mommy can I get an Oreo Mcflurry?"

Me and jay looked at each other then looked away.I turned around and looked at jewel.

Bey:"sure baby. "

I don't think she even realized she just called me her mother twice.After we got our food all that was heard was the hums coming from jewel.After we got home and everyone ate me and Jay went to tuck jewel Into bed.

Jewel:"thank you."

Jay:"for what princess?"

Jewel:"for giving me a chance and loving me."

Bey:"aww baby don't thank us we love you no matter what."

Jewel:"goodnight guys."

B&J:"goodnight."

We walked to our room changed our clothes and then hopped into bed.I think I'm gonna really like jewel a lot.
