Chapter 24.5

When I woke up I reached over for Jay and he wasn't there.I called his name and I didn't hear a reply.I walked to the vent in the floor and heard Jay on the phone.

Jay:"yes size 8 ring."

There was a long pause and then the girls came down the stairs with him.

Jewel:"daddy did you get it yet?"

Jay:"yea we have to go pick it up later."

Jewel:"ok well I'm going to go and wake her up."

Blue:"Twait for meeee!"

I heard them come back up the steps and hopped in the bed and pretended to be sleeping.

Jewel:"mommy wake up it's another day and another slay."

I stayed sleep so that they would go away but that failed.They came and got on the bed and started jumping on it screaming mommy.I woke up and grabbed jewels feet as she came falling down on the bed and blue laughed.

Jewel:"mommy time to get up."

Blue came crawling over to me on the bed and poked my nose.

Bey:"well good morning to you too blue."

She smiled at me and crawled back over to jewel.

Bey:"I will be down in a minute ok."

Jewel:"ok daddy said we can go shopping."

I quickly got out of bed and went to freshen up and change clothes.Once I was ready I went downstairs and everyone had on clothes except Jay.

Bey:"good morning baby!"

I kissed him on the lips.

Blue:"ewwwwe."

Jay:"be quiet little one."

I grabbed an apple out of the fridge and got my purse from off the counter.

Bey:"come on kiddos let's go bye baby love you see you later."

Jay:"love you too bye girls."

Jewel&blue:"bye daddy."

I got the girls in the car and drove down to the mall.I got out and made sure blue got out the car safely.I made her hold my hand as we crossed the street.Once we got there I started looking at some clothes while the girl went and looked at toys.I wandered over to the kids section looking for clothes for the both of them when a lady came up to me and started talking to me.

Lady:"may I ask you a question?"

Bey:"sure!"

Lady:"why does the little one look like that?"

Bey:"look like what?"

I was beginning to get an attitude not only are you following me around by questions my children.

Lady:"she doesn't look like the you and the other one she not as cute ya know?"

Did she just call her ugly?

Bey:"umm excuse me but last time I checked you don't know me or MY KIDS so you can back the fuck up and go somewhere annoying the hell out of me that's my kid your talking about ok I don't see a ring a child or a man around you so you can go have several seats goodbye."

I walked away and grabbed the girls from looking at the toys.

Bey:"come on babies some people are just so rude and single let's go to another store."

We walked out of that store while the women watched with a dropped jaw.I smiled and continued my journey through the mall.We all walked by justice and blue went crazy I had no choice but to take her in there.It just so happened that jewel found something she liked in there.We were walking through the mall as jewels phone kept blowing up.

Bey:"jewel who is texting you like that?"

Jewel:"keyton."

She rolled her eyes which I didn't even know she could do.

Bey:"what happened between you two?"

Jewel:"nothing he is just annoying."

Bey:"ok."

Then her phone went off again.

Bey:"jewel answer that damn phone!"

Jewel pulled out her phone and her face looked very shocked.

Jewel:"mommy we have to go home NOW!!"

Bey:"why?"

Jewel:"don't ask questions just walk."

I guess whatever it was it was important so I followed as she pulled my arm and blue chased after us.We got to the car and jewel practically threw blue in her car seat so she hit head on the edge of her car seat and started crying.

Bey:"jewel why did you do that?"

Jewel:"I didn't mean to I'm just in a hurry."

Bey:I don't know why you in such a big damn hurry but slow your ass down because now someone is hurt now apologize."

Jewel:"I'm sorry blue blue."

Blue:"it's otay."

Bey:"now jewel sit down so we can go home."

Jewel:"yes ma'am."

She sat down and I drove off to the house.I got there and it was pitch black in the house.

Jewel:"bye mom me and blue are going next door love you bye."

Before I could even say anything she had already picked blue up and was running next door.I walked up to the door and opened it.

Bey:"hello?"

Jay:"welcome to beys day."

Bey:"what is going on here?"

I couldn't help but smile as I said that.

Jay:"let's go sit down to dinner."

I followed behind him into the kitchen where there was a homemade meal waiting for me in the dining room table.

Bey:"Jay foreal what it going on?"

Jay:"like I said this is beys day so be quiet and enjoy the treatment."

Shit I won't about to argue with him.I began eating and drinking my soda my face was glued down to my plate so when i looked up I was supposed to see Jay bent down on one knee with a box in hand.I chocked on my chicken a little by the surprise of him being down there.

Bey:"Jay what are you doing?"

Jay:"Beyoncé I have loved since I first laid eyes on you. Yes we've had our problems but the fact they we are back together was a sign for me Beyoncé Giselle Knowles will you do the honors and marry me?"
