Chapter 10

Today was another one of those days where I was awoken by my phone.

Bey:"yes jewel."

I was still half sleep so I was very upset she woke me up.

Jewel:"mommy I'm ready to come home*sniff sniff*."

I quickly sat up when I heard her crying.

Bey:"jewel baby what's wrong why are you crying."

Jewel:"the girls decided to throw a party and when I said I didn't want to participate they started being mean and one of the girls started punching me."

Bey:"she did what o hell to the damn no kelly wake yo ass up jewel baby go outside on their front porch me and Kelly are on our way."

The entire time I was rumiging around the room looking for some clothes by the time I hung up I was already dressed and so was kelly.We hopped into my car and sped down to jewels friends house.Once we pulled we seen the lights from the party and red party cups all over the driveway.I seen jewel sitting on the steps crying.

Jewel:"mommy thank god your here I swear I didn't know they were gonna do all this I just thought it was a sleepover im so sorry."

Bey:"it's ok baby you're not in trouble omg your eye and your lip who did this?"

Jewel:"no mommy its okay just leave it I'm ok I promise."

Bey:"jewel tell me who did this before I whoop you."

Jewel:"her name is Amber ask anyone in there about her they will tell you where she is."

Bey:"ok go sit in the car with your aunt I will be right back."

I walked into the house and there were children in there being way to damn grown bumping and grinding and kissing on each other.I looked over and seen a boy leaning on the wall i walked over to him.

Bey:"excuse me do you know where Amber is?"

He looked me up and down and then looked back at what he was looking at before.

???:"why who wants to know?"

Ooo this little nigga bout to get snatched the fuck up.

Bey:"look I ain't got time for this do you know where she is or not?"

???:"yea she's in the first room to the left."

I walked down the hallway and opened the door I seen her in there with some fast ass boy,11 year olds these days I tell you they better know what they getting themselves into before they get something they didn't ask for.

Bey:"look here you fast ass little whore you do not and I mean DO NOT put your tainted hands on my child or I will shove one of my nine inch pair of heels so far down your throat you will be shitting my heel out for a week try me."

Amber:"is that a threat miss queen B?"

Bey:"no baby I'm too queen to make threats I make promises."

With that I got out of that house and I got back in the car I was so pissed that them people touched jewel I couldn't talk or else I was gonna blow up.

Jewel:"mom I'm so sorry I didn't know I promise you I didn't."

After I didn't respond Kelly spoke up.

Kelly:"jewel just give her some time to calm down."

When we pulled up to the house I gave Kelly the keys and I walked behind jewel into the house.Once we were in I slammed the front door and walked to my room and slammed that door too I can't take this everything I love always hurts me.

JEWELS POV

After my mom slammed the door I fell to the floor crying.My lip hurts my eyes is burning and my heart is aching because my mother is mad at me.Kelly came over to me and hugged me until I was able to talk some.

Jewel:"auntie she hates me doesn't she?"

Kelly:"no baby she loves you more than she loves herself she's not mad at you."

Jewel:"yes she does because she ignored me and then went straight to her room and slammed the door."

Kelly:"hold on a second Ima fix this come with me."

Kelly picked me up and we walked to my mothers room.

Kelly:"bey open this door before I break it down."

Bey:"Why is there something broken or on fire?"

Kelly:"yea your daughter is broken now open this damn door."

My mother raced to the door and looked at me then looked at auntie Kelly.

Bey:"she's not broken she is fine."

Kelly:"she's internally broken take your child and talk to her cause she's been crying saying that you hate her."

Kelly pushed me into my mothers room and she shut the door.

BEY POV

Bey:"baby why are you standing up you can come sit down on the bed."

Jewel reluctantly sat down on my bed.

Bey:"ok now talk tell me what you told Auntie kelly."

Jewel:"I told auntie that I made you mad and that you hated me because you wouldn't talk to me and you kept slamming doors."

Bey:"aww come give me a hug I'm sorry I don't hate you and never will your my baby I wasn't talking because if i said anything it would have came out in a way it shouldn't have and I was slamming doors because mommy is very stressed out about way too much right now."

I began shedding light tears.

Jewel:"mommy what's wrong come on talk to me it's not good to be stressed talk to me."

Bey:"mommy is okay and if I'm not I will be."

Jewel:no I'm tired of you always walking around like your ok and that nothing affects you because I know it does so stop telling me your fine or that your gonna be ok so get the talking."

Aww hell here we go all my emotions are gonna start flying like curse words from cat Williams mouth.

Bey:"whew ok so you know how when you were 8 we moved here to California?"

Jewel:"yes."

Bey:"ok so I had left Jay or your father in New York because he got his side girlfriend pregnant while he was dating me so I left and took you with me then when he showed up that day at the airport all my feelings and emotions for him came rushing back and so did the hurt that came with it.Then I think I'm leaving you in great hands and you come home with a busted lip and a black eye it's like every thing I love ends up getting hurt or hurting me and I can't take it like everything I do gets messed up."

Jewel:"mom that's not true you and Jay Jay adopted me and we are still fine and I still love you."

Bey:"but yea are you hurt yes you may be hurt physically but I'm hurt emotionally the man that I thought would have my back stabbed me in it and had another child I wanted to have his first child jewel I did ,not my best friend."

I said as the waterworks poured down my face this is it.

Jewel:"mommy don't cry I got your back no matter what you had my back when I needed it the most so now I'm gonna have yours."

I looked up at jewel and gave her a hug.

Bey:"I love you jewel."

Jewel:"I love you too mommy."
