Dax sat silently looking at Delta. Her hands were clenched in to fists. Omega's mouth was set in a hard,grim line. Ace and Haze were staring at their sister. Justus and Sirena had hung their heads in grief. Taya had a hand on Delta's shoulder. Her forehead was creased in worry.
Delta looked at Dax tear filled eyes.
"He took everything from us in that one moment,everything we loved,our parents,our home,our people,all were destroyed,she whispered.
"What did he do to you?",Dax asked,horrified.
Planet Nashka-5 minutes after its invasion.
Delta coughed. Her whole body was in pain,her limbs were screaming for help. Her skin had been burnt off in places. Her blue hair was singed. Clumps off it had come off completely on one side of her head. Her throat felt dry, it felt like she had swallowed sandpaper. She couldn't hear anything but a small,high pitched noise. The air smelt of ash and burning flesh. Her eyes landed on her mother and she threw up. Her mother's body was lying two feet away from her under the ruins of their house. Her skin had been burnt to a charcoal black,she was bleeding from several cuts on her head,neck and stomach. It was clear that she had already died during the explosion. Delta began to sob,her voice was cracked and hoarse. Her tears ran down her burnt face,stinging the flesh.
Something in the distance heard the sobbing and turned back.
Delta crawled over to her mother's corpse and rested her head on a burnt peice of wood. She couldn't feel anything. She was numb from shock. A shadow fell over her and she looked up. Her hazel eyes met with piercing blue ones. The owner of these eyes knelt down to take a closer look at her broken body. He looked genuinely surprised and happy. "You're alive",he murmured.
He gave her a large,dizzying smile. He was beautiful. His dark hair fell down to his shoulders. His jawline was covered with a light dusting of facial hair. His thick eyebrows were raised. But Delta felt that something was not right with him. His hand moved down to his belt and he unhooked a long,black object. He pressed a button on the bottom of this object and instantly,blue electricity crackled all along its length. Delta began to protest but he held a long finger to her charred lips and told her it was all going to be okay.
"I'm going to make it all go away",he said in a low,raspy voice.
She felt pain pierce her spine,the last thing she saw was his smile before everything turned dark.
