The interior of this ship was wide and spacious. There were seats aligned on either side of it. There was a large passage between the seats.

Ace and Haze sat in the cockpit of the ship. The windshield acted as a screen as well. They were busy flipping switches and controls. They were surrounded by gears and buttons that flashed red and green. They were in their bliss.

Alpha was seated behind the two young boys. He was stroking his chin and had a few maps set out on his lap. He would stroke his chin every now and then, then resume drawing on the maps with a red marker.

Justus and Sirena were seated in the seats to the opposite of Alpha. They were busy talking softly and giggling. They both grew quiet when Alpha looked at them. They quietly stared at him then broke in to huge smiles when he mouthed an "I'm sorry".

Delta and Omega were seated in the seats behind Alpha. Both were talking animatedly. Omega was telling Delta a story and both burst in to bouts of laughter. Omega looked proud when tears started to form in the corners of his sister's eyes. They both calmed down and continued eating from the packet of crisps.

Delta caught sight of the two Nashkans and gestured to them to sit in the seats behind her.
The seats were made from white leather. They were firm and smooth and made a funny sound when they were rubbed. Which explained why Alpha had yelled at Omega and Delta to stop.

"Okay you guys,buckle up",Ace commanded.

They all pulled at the straps on the seat. It ran across their chest and waist and connected to a buckle on the left of their seats. Dax buckled down and settled in to the seat. He drew in a deep breath. His heart was thumping. Blood was rushing to his head. He was very nervous.

"This is it",Taya breathed.
He nodded. This was it.
Beta was the last to settle in to her seat. She had taken a seat next to Alpha. They were deep in conversation. Their brows were furrowed and fists were clenched.

"It looks like their arguing",Taya whispered.

Before Dax could say anything the ship started to move. It began to move gradually forward. Dax could see the room from the large windows beside him. The lights started to whiz past them. They were gaining speed.

Ace pressed a button on the panel in front of him and the giant doors at the far end of the room slid open. The ramp started to slowly lift upward until it was vertical to the sky.

Haze gripped at a gear and pulled it down. The ship lifted itself off the ramp and shot swiftly off the ground and in to the air.

Dax could see the ground growing further away. The ship rattled and shook as it exited Methusla's dense atmosphere and into the vast expanse of space.
