Lost In Stardust

Chapter Twenty-Nine

The two teenagers hurried in to the brightly lit room. Inside was warm and cozy. Ace and Haze were fighting over a giant,red coat with tassels and ended up getting scolded by Beta. They grudgingly moved to another rack of clothes. Dax looked around in amazement. The room had no windows,however there were small vents that ran all along the wall, keeping the room at a habitable temperature. The walls were made of huge stones that had beem cut in to uneven oblongs and stacked on one another. Lights of different kinds glared from the ceiling,giving the room a beautiful ambience. The air was not too cold. And it still smelt like cinnamon. He made his way toward Taya and Omega. His converses padding softly on the carpeted floor.

Taya and Omega were standing at a clothes rack. Omega was giving her fashion advice while Delta wrapped a pale yellow scarf around Taya's neck. She swatted Omega's hand away as he attempted to "correct" the scarf.
"He doesn't know anything",she told Taya conspiratorially.
Omega rolled his eyes at her and made his way to the other side of the room, where he was quickly chased away from by his little sister. Sulking he decided to go find Ace and Haze instead. Dax watched him walk away then strutted up to Taya.
"You look.....cozy",he commented.
She scoffed. "Cozy?".
"Here",Delta threw a black coat in his direction.
"Put that on",she commanded him.
He scrambled to put the coat on. Buttoning up the brass buttons. The coat was made from a stiff,fuzzy fabric. It felt great. Delta dove in to a pile of warm clothing and emerged with a little grey beanie. Ignoring Dax's protest she adjusted the hat on to his head then looked at him approvingly.
"I'm amazing",she smiled.

She adjusted her own navy,blue coat and buttoned it up until no part of her neck was visible. She clapped her hands together and announced that it was time to leave.

Ace and Haze emerged from a pile of clothes. Both were dressed in coats the same color as Alpha's. Black with brass buttons. They put on their little heads and grinned at their sister,navigating through the littered floor. Omega followed closely behind them,bundled up in a grey coat. He spread his hands out and did a little walk to showcase his outfit before bursting in to laughter.

Beta and Omega emerged out of the gloominess of the stairway and made their way to where the rest of them were standing. Beta looked around the room and sighed.
"Poshumos is not going to like this",she said.
Coats had been pulled off their hangars and racks and thrown haphazardly across the floor. The floor that was once clean was now covered in a thick layer of colored fur and felt.

Alpha crossed his arms and looked at the group.
"Our mission is to find Poshumos and get our information,I don't want any unwanted attention so watch out for each other and yourselves,understand",he asked.

"Yes sir",they all shouted.

He gave a little smile then walked out of the room.
"Follow me",he commanded from somewhere outside.

They all hurried out of the room.
Alpha opened the door and a cold burst of wind hit Dax in the face. He was glad that Delta had given him that beanie.
