Everyone silently followed Alpha across the roof of the building. In the centre of the roof was located a rusty, metal door. He knelt down and pulled the handle of the the little door that had been built in to the roof. It opened with a loud clang and they held their breath. Delta ran to the other side to check if all was well.
"It's ok boss",she reported back to him.
He nodded silently then jumped in to the darkness that led in to the strange building.

They all shrugged and followed one by one. Dax cautiously lowered himself in to the darkness. Followed closely behind by Omega who closed the door softly, locking them in. Dax stretched his arms out in to the darkness to get a hold of something tangible. Darkness always held a negative effect on him, even from a young age. He had explained to his grandmother that it was not the dark itself that he was scared of,but what lay behind it. His grandmother would always nod sympathetically and give him one of her eye crinkling smiles before proceeding to tell him how much Alpha had feared the dark as a child as well. He would feel proud to know that he and Alpha had something in common.

His hands brushed against something hard and he froze immediately. Icy,cold talons wrapped around his wrists and held them in a tight grip. He stood absolutely still. Not daring to make a single sound. He then felt two arms enclose around him, holding him in place. His breath hitched and his palms felt sweaty. Just then he heard a soft chuckle coming from somewhere in front of him and relaxed.

"Taya",he growled.
The soft giggling and turned in to a low chuckle as Taya tried her best to control her laughter.
"Got you",she whispered.
He rolled his eyes where he imagined Taya would be.

"Alpha,I'm blind",Ace grumbled.
"Hang on",his brother hissed.

Alpha fumbled for the light switch and swore under his breath.
"Excuse my sisterly ignorance, but can't you just use Ace's glasses to do the job",Delta asked.

Alpha fumbled angrily for the glasses. He mumbled something about pirates in an attempt to injure Delta's ego but that only made his little sister laugh. He rolled his eyes as his glasses turned on and bathed the room in purple UV light. He spotted the light switch and pressed it. The entire building lit up instantly. Bright, white lights illuminated the floor they were standing in. Dax let go of the metal railing he had been gripping on to. The stairs they were standing spiraled down toward a bottom floor. The paint of the old wooden walls of the building had already peeled off completely, leaving just a few traces of its former occupant.

Alpha began to desend the stairs. Delta had already reached the ground floor of the building and had disappeared. The building smelt of old wood and cinnamon.
Beta sniffed the air and smiled.
She turned to Alpha.
"I'm guessing Poshumos has been here recently",she pointed out.
He grinned at her before descending the last few stairs.

"It's about time"
Delta was standing at a door that had been built behind the staircase. It was a deep, dark black. The door handle was a shiny, gold color.

"It's been freshly painted"
"Posthumos?"
"Posthumos".

Dax and Taya looked around at the glowing faces and felt even more confused.

"Whose Poshumos?"

Alpha walked toward the black door and fiddled with the knob. He smiled a tiny, secret smile when it wouldn't budge.
"Ace",he commanded.
The young boy skipped across the room and handed his brother an old ancient looking key. It was a faded, golden hue and had been spotted with bits of green. He fitted in to the key hole and turned it. The lock turned with a satisfied click and the door swung open.

"You still haven't told me who Poshumos is",Dax asked impatiently.

"Dax",Taya tapped him on the shoulder.

His eyes followed to where her finger was pointed at and he gasped.

"You won't be cold anymore",Alpha grinned at Taya, while adjusting the thick coat on to his shoulders.
