Alpha took the elevator down to the cockpit. He had rode the elevator in silence. He was wondering whether he could get away with leaving Omega and Delta in space. "They could just float around for a while and reflect on their actions, we could put a tracker on them so we can pick them up on the way back", he mused. He stifled a yawn. A lot had happened in the past hours. He had known that there would be consequences for breaking in to a police department and stealing records. He just didn't think he would get caught. They never got caught. But all things happened for a reason. He believed that Dax was an answer to his prayers. And if he was successful, the intergalactic counsel might reconsider their decisions to arrest him and put him in prison for life. And he had a long life. He couldn't risk it. The elevator doors opened and he slowly stepped out, dragging his feet behind him. He slumped in to the seat behind Justus. She was drawing a flower on the edge of a little book she had found lying on the floor of the ship. She looked up at Alpha and her jaw dropped open.
"You look terrible",Justus commented.
"Get some sleep",Beta instructed him. She rubbed her eyes and stretched her arms. Her shoulders were slumped and dark circles had appeared under her eyes. She was reclining in her seat, covering her eyes with her arm. She had taken off her jacket and it was placed neatly in the seat next to her. Sirena looked from Beta to Alpha.
"Actually,it's a tie between you and Alpha on who can look the ugliest",Sirena said.
Beta gave her a death glare then stalked off toward the elevators.
"Someone's cranky",Ace muttered.
Haze stifled a yawn then pulled up a map on the windsheild/screen of the space craft. He stared at it for a few minutes before squeezing his eyes shut.
"I think I'm gonna go to bed,I've already set the coordinates to Oberon,the ship is on auto pilot",he said.
Alpha nodded then slowly trudged towards the waiting elevator.
"You guys coming?",he nodded at his youngest sisters.
They looked at each other then shook their heads.
"We're gonna go hang out with Delta for a bit",Justus said.
Alpha shrugged then stepped in to the elevator followed by Ace and Haze.
