"Its official, this is the worst case I have ever worked on, and that's including the one with the dog as a suspect".

The inspector scratched his head before adjusting the cap on his bald head. He was a portly little man. Short, bald and a little old. His eyes creased at the corners as he squinted. He looked tired and worn out as he continued to stare at the two teenagers who awkwardly sat across from him. The office was small and cramped. Papers were spilling out from every crevice. The lights were a dull glow. The ceiling fan provided absolutely no change to the damp, humid air. Sweat lined the inspector's forehead. The steel chair creaked a little as he shifted his weight.

He rested both his hands on his face then massaged his temples.

"You mean to tell me, that you didn't intend on killing a man, it just happened?"

Omega looked at him. His face a mixture of confusion and anger.

"We haven't killed anyone".

Then how do you explain the blood on your right knee?", the inspector gestured toward Omega.

"That's mine", he gritted his teeth.

Delta rested a hand on her brother's shoulder before proceeding. " I can assure you Mr. Inspector Sir, we haven't done anything wrong", she smiled at him.

The inspector picked up a tiny notebook on his desk, flipping it open. He found what he was looking for and stabbed a chubby finger in Delta's direction.

"Stealing from a citizen"

"Starting a fight"

"Murdering a man because he had beat you in a poetry contest"

"Blaming all of this on the President"

" Must I go on?", he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You'd want to kill him too after hearing that stupid excuse of a poem....I mean....where is the passion.. the interpretation....the use of metaphor?", spluttered Omega.

Delta rolled her eyes before turning to the man behind the desk.

"All we're trying to say is that we're really, really sorry, she pouted.

"Yeah sorry isn't going to get you anywhere kid, I have teenagers too", he smiled fondly.

He pulled out a bigger notebook from under his desk. It had a thick, black cover and the words "INTERGALACTIC SPACE COUNSEL" was written in gold letters.

"I'm gonna need you to answer some questions for me".

"Firstly...what are your names?", he asked, clicking his pen.

"Delta and Omega", they both answered.

He wrote the information down, before proceeding to ask more questions.

"Why did you commit such a crime?"

A small smile played on Delta's lips.

"Alpha sent us".

The inspector's head shot up. He was now wide awake. Looking at the girl with a gaping mouth. He felt something bubbling up from within him and before he could stop himself, he started to laugh. This laughing died down to wheezing as he tried to get a grip on the situation.

"Listen kid, if you're going to lie, you might as well lie about something of this era, everybody knows Alpha and his family haven't been seen in around ten years now".

Delta continued to smile at him. Static crackled in her ear. A tiny voice whispered.

"Its done".

"Well, we'll be leaving now", Omega announced, getting to his feet.

The inspector's brows furrowed. But before he could do anything, Delta moved. His cap had been pulled over his eyes, his head was then pushed toward the floor. He heard a loud explosion and heard his co-workers yelling. When he had managed to get rid of his makeshift blindfold, his jaw dropped open. The brick wall behind him was a gaping, black hole. It had happened so fast.

"She'd moved so fast", he whispered.

The grip on his shoulder's broke him out of his reverie. A young intern was looking at him, wide eyed.

"All the records of Alpha and his family, the Nashka tribe and the darkness have been wiped from the computers. He looked frantic.

Then he froze. "We'll have to read from, he gulped, "paper", he whispered.

The inspector pushed the young man out of his way then stood at the threshold of the opening Omega had made in his office.

A young woman came running up to him, clutching a small screen . She showed it to him. It was a map of the city. On it was one red dot that was moving gradually towards the outskirts of the city.

"They're moving fast, we managed to tag the boy when he broke through, she explained.

"FIND THEM!", he roared.
