Planet Nashka-One hour after its invasion.
Delta's  head felt light and woozy. Her body was completely numb. She could hear a faint beep coming from the machine beside her.She slowly opened her eyes adjusting to the lights. The room smelt like cleaning detergent. She raised her right hand and winced at the sight of a long narrow tube attached to it. It connected her hand to a translucent bag that was hooked on a pole beside her bed. A yellow liquid was slowly being transferred from the bag to her body. Her hand felt cold.

Her lower half was draped in a white blanket. She moved her legs. Nothing happened.
Her heart started to thump rapidly in her chest. Blood pounded in her ears. Her face was cold. She started to panic. That was when she realized that her head was bandaged as well. Little white, pads were stuck to her chest, neck, legs and hand. They were all connected to the black machine next to her. The machine itself was a small box with outlets for wires and such. The screen showed a red line which was fluctuating rapidly.

"You seem to be doing well for somebody who has suffered so much damage",a low, raspy voice spoke from behind. She jumped. The voice triggered a painful memory.
"Mum",she sobbed.

Instantly someone was next to her. Holding her hand. Her small fingers were intertwined with longer ones. The face she had seen before everything went dark, appeared next to her. He gave a tiny smirk.

"You're welcome",he smiled.

"Why can't I move my legs"

He gazed down at the sheets then removes them carefully, exposing her legs. They had been sprayed with something and new tissue had already begun to grow over the burnt flesh. He watched the transition carefully, mouth sat in a tight, grim line. She watched him, afraid. She knew nothing about this person other then the fact that he had saved her life and that he had been there when she had first opened her eyes.

"Who are you?"

He was dressed in a white lab coat. His hair had been pushed back. He gave her another beautiful smile before sitting next to her.

"Get some sleep, you'll be fine by tomorrow"

"But"

He took a syringe from the table next to her and filled it with a colorless liquid. Moving to her left arm he patted it with a wet cloth before pushing the needle in to her skin. The pain was bitter sweet. The needle pierced the skin. The sting lasted only for a second.

Her eyes fluttered closed and all she heard before blacking out, were the stranger's retreating footsteps and a loud, highpitched wail.

Room A-Level B of the Anova space ship.

Justus woke up sweating violently. Her head felt heavy and her body was in so much pain. Everything felt broken and torn. She moved her arm and screamed like a wounded animal. The sound tore at her vocal chords. She was unable to move. Her head was lying precariously to the side. Her long hair had been shaved so that her head could be bandaged. She heard footsteps approaching.

"WHY IS SHE IN PAIN?",a loud, raspy voice boomed.

All around her there were scampering of feet as somebody approached her bed. Blue eyes looked worridely at her. He checked her vitals then moved to inject her with a yellow liquid. Instantly Justus relaxed. She could feel no pain, only fear.

"You're a screamer?",he gave her a wide smile.

"Excellent".

She looked at him like he was crazy. Who was this person and why was she there?

He looked off in to the distance and chuckled.
"I was with your sister earlier, the one with pretty little feet, she'll make a good runner, he said, his blue eyes glinting.

"Get some rest",he instructed her.

"Doc,watch her,I'm going to check on the others".
