"I can't believe he burnt half the planet just to spite you Alpha",Taya said in disbelief.
Dax wrestled with the buckles of his seat belt before finally getting them right. Ace swiftly piloted the ship off the ground and in to the sky. Haze was frantic. Pressing buttons and flipping switches while Ace controlled the vessel.
Omega had gone to sleep the minute they had returned to the ship. He was now snoring peacefully. His head,resting uncomfortably on Delta's shoulder.
Justus looked at him with disgust.
"How can he sleep at a time like this?",she asked,horrified.
"Because he's Omega",Delta replied while she shifted in her seat,careful of waking up her little brother as he slumbered.
Poshumos had instructed them on what to do. It was simple. Find the black hole that would lead them in to the Pan Galaxy. Finding it was no easy feat. Haze was going crazy punching up random numbers and frantically looking for notebooks and crumpled pages. He was surrounded by them.
"Okay,according to my calculations,it should be around here somewhere,so start looking for a gaping black hole".
Ace slowly inched the ship forward and gasped.
There,a few meters before them was a swirling vortex of destruction. Light was being vacuumed in to the gaping darkness. Followed by the stars and planets it had been snatched from.
Ace craned his neck forward until he could clearly see where he was going.
"Buckle up",he commanded them as the ship shot forward.
They hurriedly buckled themselves and settled down. Taya looked apprehensive. Her face was pale and her knuckles were white. She was holding on to Dax's hand and her nails dug in to his flesh. He grimaced in pain but said nothing,just managing to smile at her. To provide her with a facade of courage he obviously didn't possess. She smiled nervously but her eyes were frantic.
Alpha sat grimly in his seat. Gripping on to the arm rests of his seat. Ace gulped.
"Here goes nothing",and shot forward in to the swirling tunnel.
The ship shook and rattled.
"I have to use full power",Ace informed them as he and Haze hurridely puched in some commands to access the ship's power supply. It was pitch black outside. The ship shot forward,whizzing past the pitch black. Dax's ears were ringing. He couldn't see anything but he knew that they were travelling very,very fast.
The black hole spit them out of the darkness and in to a cluster of constellations.
"Woah",Dax managed.
All around him,starlight twinkled and flickered. It was mesmerizing. He could understand why Alpha craved freedom so much. It was beautiful.
Omega woke up and rubbed his eyes.
"What happened?"
"You've got to be kidding me",Beta looked at him in disbelief.
"What",he questioned her.
"Alpha we're running out of power",Haze informed him.
"Nearest power supply?"
"Blue's Diner"
"Let's go"
The boy navigated the ship to the south of the galaxy.
"We have about eight minutes before we completely run out of power",Haze told them.
"Get us there in seven minutes",Alpha grinned.
"You got it boss"
