After many a year goes by
One would think, imagine even
They are in the middle
Of knowledge
Of events in the universe
Their lives spaced and planned
Grown wise from experience
Both past and present
Years of breathing longer
Than youngsters
Sure in the steps ahead
But what if
There's a change on the horizon
A goal
A dream
Long awaited for
About to arrive
To commence
Something to make one feel like
The beginning adult
New yet old
Strange yet familiar
Exciting yet horrifying
To start at the single digits
At a higher level
For the bigger pay out
Again
Watching stars
Align themselves
With cataclysmic accuracy
Hairy scary
Worrisome failure
Anticipation of hard work
Seeing the brightness Of the future
All coming
Soon to be seen
Whether this adult
Is a beginner
Or a scholarly old timer
In a reincarnated life
