Looking out
Gazing about
Thru eyes that are foggy
No penetration of ocular lens
Clear, beautiful day
Water sparkling
Breeze blowing
Sand soft under feet
Music getting thru cloudy brain
But the connection between
Brain and eyes isn't there
Short circuit somewhere
Relationship in a bind
Shaking neurons apart
Different thoughts
Happy
Active
Complicated
Nothing seems to help
Fading from reality
Unreal/disconnected
Is high
Wading in shallow waters
Not much in expectations
Just wishing for release
Salvation
Dreaming
Sweet long deep dreams
Restful
Multiple hours
Even days if necessary
Sleep out the confusion
