Every year on Yom Kippur
We forgive those that
Have wronged us
Last year I forgave youBut the mere mention of
Your name
The situation
Brings it all
Flooding backWhat you did
You lied
Under oath
For firing me
Because I was sickI've wanted to
Tell you off
To tell you how much
You have ruined
My life
For a while nowThere were so many
Bad, mean things
I've wanted to sayBut then I realized
You don't deserve
My anger
My feelingsYou deserve
NOTHING
You are worth
NOTHINGI believe that
What goes around
Comes around
And you'll get yours
X 3I will and have forgiven
Not for you
But for me
Your existence doesn't
Belong in my soulHopefully
Some day
I will forget
In the meantime
I live a day at a timeKnowing
Your intimidation
Your rudeness
Is the pastYou are the past
I've moved on
To the future
I live todayAnd you will
Never ever
Again be a part
If my
Today
Or
Tomorrow
