Staring at the wall
Feeling lost
Heart in stomach
Why?
Why did this
Have to happen?
Only 3 weeks in
Not enough time
To prove myself
To learn the job
To pick a pace
2.5 years over
Or so I thought
Getting back on my feet
Feeling like myself again
Working hard
But alas
Back to square one
Had rug pulled
From underneath
Dazed and confused
Feel cheated
Unfair
How?
How could this happen?
Shock, zombie motion
Hardening inside of me
Tears streaming down
Then finally
Anger
WTF???
That's not how it works
Or haven't you heard?
Regardless of
Position or industry
Every single person
Gets 3 months
Probation period
No one can learn
A job in 3 weeks
Not make mistakes
Doesn't matter how many
Years of experience they have
A new hire should
Always be trained
If you have daily guidance
You learn faster
Get more done
Better
If you aren't
You don't
Simple as that
No great formula
Behind it
If you don't have time
To train
Instead of applying
The sink or swim method
DO NOT HIRE THEM!
Or anyone else
For that matter
Until you do
Or have someone
More equipped
Do it for you
Training is something
Done everyday
Not told once and
Go do it
When you have
No clue what "it" is
So yes
I am angry
Sad
Disappointed
Frustrated
Wish none of it
Happened
I have the right
To be
Situation was ridiculous
Manager needs training
To be a good manager
Before ever managing anyone!
Though only there
So little
Will miss the people
I got to know
Seeing their faces everyday
The wonderful women
Happy hour
Now taking it
Day by day
Saw an inspiring movie
Where it was said
That in order to understand why,
Important to step away
Get some prospective
Everything happens
For a reason
What's
The reason
For this?
