Is not just
A billion year old
Process of life on earth
It's the process
Each person
Goes through
Each day
Each way
Of their lives
We evolve
Into something
Better or worse
All depending on
Decisions made
Lives are changed
The evolution of
Decision making
Starts at young age
We want to become
Someone special
Someone cool
Someone accepted
But that however
Isn't always the case
Uniqueness
Perceived as
Difference
Talent as
Weirdness
Negativity
Stifles the mind
Clouds judgment
Making for
A waiting reprieve
Years pass
Suddenly
Like an earthquake
Unbounded
Evolution
Character
Breaks free
And
Does a
180
No longer
Silenced
Can fly free
Change colors
Shapes
Sizes
Visions
&
Goals
What was once held back
By silent
Malevolent
Tyranny
Is now free
Through determination
Of self
And spirit
A 180 degree turn
Toward the light
The sun
The growth of independence
Freedom of expression
Uniqueness
Talent
Rain or shine
Hot or cold
Through knowledge of self
Humility
Each day
A precious gift
Evolution of each
Wave
Cell
Structure
Smile
Thought
Brings one step closer
To living
A fulfilled life
Without regrets
With risk taking
Lessons forever learned
