The gray planet in the sky
Is lit brightly within
As a shadow passes by
It covers up the sins
The moon, the brain
Are one and the same
Bad thoughts should drain
While the new ones came
Feeling blank, feeling stiff
Closing eyes so tight
Waiting for an eternal gift
Praying with all your might
A sunny day should be a dream
Thinking lightly of the kind
And yet can't even see a gleam
It is the total eclipse of the mind
